“A perfect stay - thank you, thank you to Lydia and Roy.”
Lydia and Roy were exceptional hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and as our first stop in Guatemala we couldn't have chosen better. It was telling that half the guests were Guatemalans who will know the best places to stay. I can't list all the small acts of kindness from packed-breakfasts for our climb up Acatenango to a beautifully packaged gift of agate stones for our well-being as we left. We breakfasted like royalty, Lydia conjured up something very different and very delicious each morning, and Roy was there to welcome, advise, encourage and generally be a positive force of nature whenever we needed.
