The DalaiLama Village features independent bungalows and chalets at 1500 metres above sea level. It offers a 2-storey building with restaurant, gym, and a spa with indoor swimming pool. The centre of Chatillon is 15 km away. The chalets and bungalows at the Dalai Lama are suitable for 2 to 4 guests. Some of them include a kitchenette. “Weekend city escape”
The location is beautiful, situated at around 1500 meters altitude with lovely views of the mountains. It’s easy to start hiking directly from the property. Coffee and breakfast were good, with the option to sit outside.

We loved being high up in the mountains. The air was so fresh. We had arrived after a long drive up through Italy and it was lovely to be able to relax in the swimming pool. Maurice looked after us very very well.

Pretty location but far short of the photos. It's essentially a camping ground with some overpriced bungalows. I had another booking for the village below this site which was about half the price. I regret cancelling that booking. The bungalow beds were good. Firm mattresses.

The location is simply amazing, in the middles of the mountains and very close to many walking paths. The little houses were extremely cute and so was the restaurant and the terrace where to eat staring at the amazing view

“Suitable for camping specifically”
This place is a camping site, on the mountain, it's not very convenient for shopping and eating. But the landlord was very kind and provided me with everything I needed. Parking is very convenient because on the mountain, the starry sky is very beautiful. Living in a camping cabin, cooking some delicious food, and taking children to enjoy the starry sky, this experience is quite interesting.
