The contemporary furniture echoes the cool colouring, minimal design and soothing lighting. The restaurant offers traditional regional cuisine made with fresh, seasonal produce. It offers fine Spanish wines. There is also a café-bar. Thanks to the Parador de Antequeras location, you can easily visit Andalusias main cities such as Malaga, Granada, Seville and Cordoba. “Disappointing”
We had been recommended to try a Parador hotel and was very much looking to it. Unfortunately our experience at Antequera means we are unlikely to stay in another. Room was clean and tidy if a bit tired. Surprised there was no free water.

The room was large and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with fantastic views of the landscape. We ate in the cafeteria which had a good range of vegetarian options. The staff in the cafeteria were particularly friendly and welcoming. It’s a short walk into the town.

“Comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.”
It is a more contemporary building in terms of architecture. The suite was large and comfortable which was fortunate as we had to extend our stay due to storm Leonardo. The staff were very accommodating. It’s a short walk into the old town past the bull ring. We found it a convenient location with easy parking. It was a quiet time of year and the hotel wasn’t too busy.
