Great little Hostel. Old and quaint. Room had a fridge which was a nice touch. AC worked fine. TV Very central to town, located on the main street. Lots of old stuff to look at everywhere in the building. Great price. Bed was solid and comfortable . Would stay again.

“Initially not at all pleased with the standard of the hostal but found its lack of pretension refreshing and its inadequ”
Initially I was extremely disappointed by the overall look of the hotel, the reception area especially. It has an air of some of the old hotels of Spain’s past with many authentic framed historic photos of street life in Antequera, and of El Torcal and the ancient dolmans, and many unique fixtures and fittings…which have the hotel its individual character. Many of these old Hostals have gone or been turned into “boutique” hotels, lacking in any individuality, so a refreshing change.

“Great for short stay on a budget”
They allowed me to check in early. The room was very spacious and bright. The location is unbeatable right in the centre a few mins walk from all attractions. The owners and staff are very nice, helpful and accommodating.

“Inexpensive & cheerful place to stay downtown Antequera. No car parking.”
Centrally located & close to amenities. Breakfast in a bar across the road. Try La Cantina further down thee street for evening grub - very good. Hostal is sweet and simple, no frills but OK. No car parking facilities & difficult passenger drop off.

There was an issue with the room on the first night. However the staff responded well and resolved our issue immediately. Overall a very happy stay, Antequera was a fantastic town enjoyed every minute exploring.
