The location of the house next to the Alcazaba, and the view from the terrace. Also we very much liked the colourful tiles used in the house and the terrace.

We had a 7 night stay here Jan 2026. The house is perfect and situated in a beautiful part of Antequera.The view from the Terrace is amazing. The garage is nearby down some steps. The host Jose was easy to contact and gave very clear instructions when needed.

Very pretty, typical house. Great location. Amazing view from balcony. The garage was to narrow for our SUV, but we always found free parking close by. City center is around 10 min walking distance. Antequera is a nice center point to explore Andalucia from. The location was quite.

“Great Spanish experience”

The house was right next door to a historical church and Castle. The views from our balcony overlooked the town and hillside which was absolutely stunning We also looked down onto the old Roman Bath ruins. The property was extremely well equipped and comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. A short walk down, through gorgeous streets, led us to the town therefore we found it very accessible. We had sole use of a garage for our hire car which was very beneficial as street parking in the area is limited. Although we didn’t meet Jose, he was very prompt in replying to emails, giving us instructions and a very welcoming host. Thank you

Perfect location in a quiet location but right next to the Santa Maria Church/Square and the Alcazaba. Short but steep descent/climb to the town centre. The accommodation had everything we needed including a garage for parking the car.

The location was lovely with superb views across Antequera. The home felt traditionally Spanish and the garage was a huge bonus. Communication with our hosts was faultless and the home was just right for our 3 night stay.

We had a wonderful time at Casa Vacacional Alcazabilla. The location is fantastic, so quiet in the evening but well-lit and safe. The house is beautiful and, most important, warm. The garage is also a huge plus when travelling by car. It's so big, you can turn the car round inside so you don't have to reverse out. We loved Antequera, too, and it makes a great base for sightseeing from Granada to Ronda and from Cordoba to Malaga.

The casa was unbelievable.. stunning location.. The view from the balcony was to die for. The front door was right outside the church.square. Absolutely super. It was totally clean and I wish whoever did it would clean my home. Comfortable beds. Great facilities. It was a peaceful and relaxing stay ! Directions given by Juan were spot on and, having a garage, a massive bonus..
