Lovely quiet hotel right in the middle of Antequara surrounded by things to see. Lots of cafes and restaurants in easy walking distance. But if you do not try at least some of the tapas you are missing a treat. Best kept secret in Spain.

It's a beautiful.building if historic interest that's been sensitively updated . My room was spacious and comfortable and serviced daily. The location cant be beaten for access to the town, 3 minute walk to tourist info, all facilities next door, cafe, supermarket etc. On top.of that it offers culinary excellence in the restaurant and tapas bar.

Arty and not main stream, excellent wines and tapas.

The location was perfect - very central with the public parking within walking distance ( with the bonus of the top floor of the car park having 360 degrees view of Antequera ) . The decor was lovely . The food in the restaurant was fabulous and although there was no breakfast ,there was a little bakery a few doors down offering food and coffee

The receptionist was very helpful and booked me a taxi for an early morning departure. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom is open within the bedroom which was fine for me but wouldn't be good for friends sharing a twin room. I liked having a kettle and a selection of teas. There is a Mercadona supermarket opposite. The restaurant onsite is very good. The town is very walkable from the hotel.

Manager and staff were very helpful, friendly. Modern, spotless clean. Excellent tapas bar and restaurant Bed had top sheet and blanket. Brilliant

On arrival the door appeared to be locked but we rang the bell and a lady answered. It was apparent that they were busy with lunch service in the award winning restaurant. She called her son who spoke very good English and he was very helpful regarding what there was to do in the area on a Sunday, public transport and even offered to help us book a train. The building and interior are attractive and charming. Our rooms were small but clean, bright and, comfortable with a kettle, herbal tea, shampoo and body wash and a good shower. There was a guest’s sitting room opposite. Sadly, we didn’t get the opportunity to use the restaurant.

Great location. Nice room with a very good shower. There was some initial confusion; I was given the key to my room but it hadn’t been cleaned; the bed was unmade and there was trash from the previous guests. I spoke to the gentleman who had checked me in and he was extremely apologetic about this and it was sorted out straight away.

My staying at Arte de Cozina was excellent: the room was really nice, all the staff great, both the restaurant and the tapas bar superb. If you want to have a nice holiday in Antequera make sure to book a room at Arte de Cozina, you won't be disappointed.
