The stay was magical for me. I took some time off and went just for the stay without a checklist and I can happily say that the stay was amazing. I expected nothing but Ramya and Ramya's mom (the homestay owners) made it so special for me. I travelled solo and Ramya gave such a good service at the homestay as well a great company to me, I can't explain the experience in words :) I'm happy that I went to Kabini and stayed at such a beautiful homestay, full of greenery and so many beautiful wall arts made by Ramya. My room had such a beautiful view of the garden and I was surrounded by so many plants and flowers. I could see so many birds and butterflies, it was beautiful!! Also, Bruno is so sweet, she is a 6 year old female dog but she is a little cutie pie and I would definitely like to meet her again. She is literally so calm that I can take the "how to stay calm" classes from her haha ;) The food was also amazing, I stayed for 3 days and had all my meals at the homestay itself, didn't go outside for a single meal. The staff - Manjulamma and others, all were very polite and gentle. I really loved the overall stay and would like to visit again with my family. Couldn't have asked for a better stay and environment at that phase of my life. I felt alive, grateful, connected to myself, connected to others, connected to the nature. I really had nothing more to ask. I had a fulfilled experience and was fully content before coming back home.

I had a wonderful stay at HD Kote and couldn’t recommend it more. What truly made this experience special were the amazing hosts. Remia is an incredibly kind and warm person who is always ready to help with anything you might need. She creates such a welcoming and caring atmosphere, and her family is just as lovely and friendly. The room had everything I needed - a comfortable bed, all the essentials, and a cozy, relaxing vibe. It was also affordable. I especially enjoyed the small garden terrace in front of the room. The food at the restaurant downstairs was delicious too! It was a beautiful and memorable stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and welcoming experience.

“Excellent stay”

Our homestay was excellent and the owner of the homestay made us feel like more of a home outside home. I have never met such a lovely person before. Going to Kabini and searching for a comfy, homely room in a budget then this is the place. Through its on the top floor (3rd floor) without lift but once you reach, you will love staying there. There is a restaurant down the building, with yummiest food made with much love and serve with much care.

Such a good place to stay. Room is very clean, bed is comfortable, warm water in the bathroom, AC and Vent. The owner helped me with everything i needed. I had food everyday at the owners restaurant. It was super comfortable because I didn't have to go somewhere alone as solo traveler. Also she organised me a driver to the safari. Everything worked just well. I felt like home at this place. The best things where the dogs in this area. They are so cute and nice. Also the owner is a very nice and kind hearted person. I would definitely choose this homestay again and would recommend to everyone also since this is the best and fairest price you can get in this area.

Main value of Arasu Homestay are definetly people that run the place. Even before the arrival I felt taken care of, willingness to help and organise safari, plan next steps in journey, get to know the city etc. really make you feel like you belong to the community even for the couple of days. Owners are really engaged and eager to help with every matter (I managed to plan my safari with them, get to know local cuisine, really good restaurant they also run and take care of some souvenirs). For this price one of the best deals I had in my whole trip, the rooms are modest but clean, definetly recommend given the price they ask.

“Best family stay for Kabini Safari”

I was looking for a clean and comfortable budget stay at HD Kote near the Dammanakatte Kabini Safari Center, and Arasu Homestay fit the bill perfectly. It either takes 20 or 30 mins to reach the safari center from the stay in th morning or afternoon respectively. Ramya, the host, is excellent. Very helpful and caring. She had all the information I needed to accomplish my tasks and successfully complete both safaris. Rooms (with attach bathrooms) are basic but the best I've stayed at in HD Kote. It's ideal if one is only looking for a stay to spend the night. Room size is ideal for two adults and a child. There are limited rooms. Prior booking is recommended. HD Kote is a rural town with farms and forests, so one needs to be okay with bugs and bees that get attracted to the lights. Keeping the doors and windows shut from dusk till dawn helps. Air-conditioning ensures the room isn't stuffy. This is perfect for young families and solo female and male travellers. I would not recommend this to the elderly or the specially abled as the rooms are on th 3rd floor and accessible only by stairs. Food: One needs to step out. Both veg and non veg options within a few meters from the stay. Property is on the HD Kote main road on your right as you drive from Handpost and there is ample public parking for two and four wheelers at owners' risk. (Motorcycles bring your disc locks and chain locks, and you are good)

“An unforgettable stay with amazing hosts”

It was very clean and their restaurant was right below. Ramya and Pavan and the people around them have their heart on the right place. They arranged so many things, even very last minute. Also her whole family and friends were incredibly welcoming. We spent a lot of time together and they took me to amazing places to show me around. It felt like we knew each other for much longer and had so much fun. Definitely my #1 stay in India 🇮🇳🙏

What an amazing stay! Honestly the best we have had in india so far. The host is amazing and helps you with everything you can imagine (bringing us fresh snacks, organising our safaris and even taking us to it when our taxi driver didn't show up!) The room is large and very clean, and the terrace area is just lovely to sit out in the mornings and evenings. Also you can eat just downstairs at their family restaurant which serves delicious food for a very good price! We felt so looked after - it was great! If you are looking for an alternative for doing a safari you should definitely book this lovely place 😊
