“Not a good experience”
It’s under repair work, lots of noise all day. Food is very mediocre but very expensive. Staff is not very helpful.

Reception staff was not very helpful when the Riots and unrest started. I paid a more expensive price direct with the Hotel for the addition night than the original booking made through Bookings .com.

Breakfast was good, plenty of choice. Staff very helpful and friendly. Gym was good and most equipment was functioning. steam room and sauna were amazing. Plenty of choice for dinner.

“Staff shined”
The staff. If I am going to remember anything from this hotel, it will definitely be the people. I am quite impressed how they were consistently nice and kind. It’s quite rare to see. Almost all guests were in the middle of a trip cancellation havoc but we were very well taken care off. Big thank you to all the receptionists, servers, room service, a gentleman who helped to open my suitcase - and Mr. Michel for listening and understanding.

I had a very good stay at Ibis Antananarivo Ankorondrano. The hotel is modern, clean, and well organized, with all the essential comforts for a business or leisure trip. My room was quiet and comfortable, with a great bed and reliable Wi-Fi. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to assist. I also appreciated the restaurant — the food was fresh and tasty, and breakfast had a nice variety.

“Regular”
I booked this property specifically because it advertised access to a gym. Upon arrival, I was informed that the gym was closed due to renovation, and no alternative solution or compensation was offered. This was not communicated in advance, and it significantly impacted my experience.
