We stayed at Bamboo Lodge for one night, as a stopover. Convenient location, very helpful and friendly staff, clean and well equipped kitchen, pleasent lobby. It is like an oasis in the middle of a hectic city. Good choice for budget accommodation.

Charles the owner has a deep knowledge of the country and the team of young women will do everything they can to make your stay a perfect one . And all that for a very good price . So the Bamboo Lodge is without any doubt the place to stay in Antananarivo .

“Great for backpackers”
Everything that backpacker needs for 5 bucks :) suprisingly private dormitory (beds look like litle bamboo houses, so you don't see other people), great and helpful owner, good location, nice atmosphere, clean shower. I felt safe and comfortable. Good wifi.

“A piece of exotic atmosphere in the city center”
Great location, nicely arranged interiors, lots of plants, a lot of space, a terrace, cool, large bamboo beds in the dormitory - cabins giving a nice atmosphere and the manager Ricky - very sympathic, helpful and friendly, you can always count on him to help in case of any problems. In general, the whole team at the hostel are very nice people
