“Amazing stay”

A wonderful home for our family vacation! It was really comfortable and equipped with all we needed for our stay. Much space for spending relaxing hours, e.g. on the terrace with a great view. The kindness and hospitality of the hosts Sylvianne and Antoine is amazing. They showed and explained us all we needed to know and helped us wherever possible. A big thank you! Ixora Villa is located close to the very nice Jardin du roi and many beaches are easy to reach. But a car is needed. The several tortoise in the garden were a highlight to our son. We will stay here again when returning to Mahe.

First of all, many thanks to Antonio and Sylviana for a great vacation! Everything you need is there, the villa is fully equipped. Shops are nearby, but it is better by car, because you will need to go back to the hill. The villa is located on a hill and has a great view. The food was ordered at Perry's Grillz, they make excellent fish, especially tuna. Special thanks to the hosts for the day of departure, we took off late at night, left our things at the villa, swam and drove around the island all day, changed our clothes in the evening. After that we had dinner with hosts and were warmly go home. If the Seychelles, then only at Antonio and Sylvianna's villa!

Very nice and friendly owners. Very communicative and they answered quickly. Check-in was perfect, they waited for us and opened the gate for the property. The house was very nice and comfortable, big wonderful garden with even several big turtles in a separated area (perfect for our kids to feed). The owners did their maximum to make our stay perfect. It was our best accomodation we had on the Seychelles!

Villa itself exceeded our expectations - very clean, comfortable, quiet, located next to Jardin du Roi Spice Garden and ~1.5km from Anse Royale Beach. It has everything you might need for a self catering stay (including a barbecue grill) and there're two well-stocked stores near by. Lovely garden surrounding the villa and the sound of wild birds around, make you feel relaxed since day one. And lets not forget about tortoises which are best friends with anyone! As for the hosts - Sylvianne and Antoine are some of the kindest people we've ever met. They make your stay at their place like at home, always there for you, ready to help, answer any question or give advise on what's worth seeing or going to.

We immediately felt at home here and can absolutely recommend this accommodation. As already mentioned, Sylvianne and Antoine are some of the best hosts we've ever had, and it was a pleasure getting to know them. The accommodation is in a great location, has everything you need, and is even cleaned regularly. And of course, there are the wonderful tortoises that our children were able to feed and care for and absolutely loved them. We were also able to go on a wonderful excursion with Antoine, and were regularly given fruits from the garden and even had dinner and cake. We would have loved to stay longer, but maybe we'll come back soon ;-)! Thank you again, and we wish you all the best for the future.

“Beautiful Villa, lovely hosts.”

Sylvianne and Antoine were waiting to greet us on our early arrival. Welcomed into their home while waiting for villa to be available. Throughout our stay Sylvianne and Antoine were so hospitable but without being intrusive. Cooked us a lovely Creole meal one night and had a plentiful supply of fruits from the garden. The Villa was of an excellent standard with everything needed for our stay. The villa was spacious and fully equipped. The outside space around the villa was lovely with views of the sea on one side. It exceeded our expectations. The Villa was cleaned every 2 days with fresh linen and towels. Sylvianne and Antoine were brilliant with knowledge of the Island and advice of where to visit.

We had a family vacation in Seychelles in February 2024. The owners of Ixora Villa Antoine and Sylvianne were very hospitable and ready to provide assistance in any situation. The villa is not new, but very spacious and cozy (two bedrooms with two bathrooms and a kitchen-living room). It has everything you need for a comfortable accommodation of four people. There are ceiling fans in each room and air conditioners in the bedrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher. The villa is cleaned three times a week and always kept clean and tidy. All household appliances are working properly. Outside there is a comfortable barbecue area and an outdoor veranda overlooking the sea and the jungle with flying foxes. There is also a large and beautiful garden with many exotic fruit trees. The house is protected from insects by harmless and very cute geckos. Antoine and Sylvianne are very responsive and always ready to help. As a compliment we sometimes received fruits from the garden. And of course the turtles! This is a separate story. Our son ran with delight every morning to feed and pet them, and even wash some of the turtles! The villa is conveniently located: the airport is only 30 minutes away by car, Anse Royal beach is 5 minutes away by car, the best beaches Intendance and Polis Bay are 15-20 minutes away, a shop is within walking distance. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will definitely come back!

This is an exceptional accommodation. We enjoyed the staying at Ixora Villa a lot. Antoine has been a great person who treated our family like if it was his family. Tips, recommendation, providing a fresh fruit from his garden etc. Especially our son enjoyed a lot feeding Antoine's tortoises. Overall a great hospitality. We would stay here again, if we came back to Seychelles.

stunning and very spacious villa surrounded by beautiful garden and even big tortoise at the back. clean and comfortable beds good wifi connection very well equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook, clean and do your laundry. very thoughtful of hosts to leave extras such as coffee, milk, bread, bottles of water, washing liquid , detergent and so on, which made our stay lot easier. welcome drinks and basket full of fruits was such kind gesture, especially after a long- haul flight. sylvianne and antoine were absolutely amazing and very helpful from day one. they made sure we were felt at home at all times. only a phone call away if we ever needed anything. advised us on best beaches and places to visit. waking up to fresh fruits at the front everyday was very heart warming 😇. you guys went above and beyond to host a beautiful dinner with your family on our last night. couldnt ask for any better hosts! thank you so much for everything you have done to make our stay so pleasent!!!

Very quiet and pleasant location boasting great views both of the mountains and the ocean. The villa is very cozy with nice living room and kitchen equipped with everything for self-catering, it really felt like home. There is also a beautiful well-kept garden around the villa with a variety of local fruit trees and even a tortoise enclosure! Both Sylvie and Antoine are extremely kind, hospitable and caring hosts, always ready to help or to answer any question we had about the house, places to visit around the island, etc. Overall it was a really pleasant stay at Ixora villa.

Our host were amazing and always helped us when we needed it but were never intruding. They offered us fresh fruits, homemade passionfruit juice and a cake on arrival which was adorable ! They gave us many advices on where to go and what to see in Mahe. We asked if they could prepare a dinner one night and they did, it was tasteful, delicious and authentic. They even offered some local bay leaves that I cook with back at home a great useful souvenir ! The beach down the road is fantastic and we had a great time Cafe Creole. A lovely address in Mate for sure.

We loved everything! The villa is really amazing, with everything you need and more. Extremely clean and well taken care of. Great space and views. The garden is fantastic with turtles and lots of space to play for kids. Antoine and Sylvianne are the BEST hosts ever. I am extremely grateful to them, they made our stay unforgettable.

Everything about this place was brilliant. Sylvianne and Antoine were the best hosts ever - friendly, kind, helpful - nothing too much trouble. They welcomed us with fresh passion fruit juice and big basket of fruit, and spent 20 minutes chatting about the villa and our plans. They gave us a lift to nearest shops, and a delicious salad on the last night. Couldn't get better hosts! The villa had everything we needed and more, and large outdoor space for washing, sitting, eating, barbecue, beautiful garden. We particularly enjoyed feeding the 20+ tortoises, including the cute 3 month old one. Tip: Grocery store 10 minutes away does the BEST ice cream. We tried coconut and blackcurrant. This is the place to go for a completely chilled break. We will be back!
