“If you want comfortable accommodation away from the big hotels Royal Escape is a good choice”

Royal Escape is a great base for exploring the central and northern end of St Lucia. It’s quiet but not too far from some good beaches and Marigot Bay. Pat is a very caring and helpful host with lots of good advice as to places to visit. Definitely recommend hiring a car if you’re staying at Royal Escape. Recommend Anse Cochon for beach and snorkelling, Rum distillery tour and Millet bird sanctuary walk.

“Great Host but facilities not as good as they appear!”

The host is great (as all the other reviews have outlined) and is the best thing about this place. The location is around 30mins from the airport in Castries and a bit more than an hour from the international airport to the south. You really need a car to make this place work for you, or you are going to be walking a lot up and down hills! The parking is outside the facility, but right opposite (not within the secure area).

Pat, our host was fantastic and organised a taxi from the airport for us & we used Victor to take us round the island. Our accommodation was like home from home. A well equipped kitchen & the bathroom suit which included a jacuzzi. Bedroom/ lounge very comfortable. Nice sunbathing area round a small swimming pool.

Royal Escape is welcoming from the moment the you arrive. Pat had arranged our ride from the airport. She was there to greet us. The building is bright and clean. Beautiful gardens and a private pool area.

Pat is a great host, very accommodating and helpful. Apartment is a generous size and very clean. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

A spacious and comfortable place to stay in a great location. Pat is a great host, very caring and knowledgeable. Having a hire car really helps to make the most of the holiday and Pat kindly shared cakes she made made with us, as well as booking taxis when needed.

Fantastic place! Big, functional, modern and nicely decorated room with a huge bathroom and kitchen. Freshly cooked breakfast and dinner served at the premises. The owner is a very nice and service minded person. The location is close to the charming fishing village Anse La Raye.

Excellent stay at the Royal Escape. Pat was an absolutely incredible host, you can sense she loves what she does — she greeted us on day one, helped us get around, and was extremely helpful throughout our entire stay. With the elections coming up, it was also a fascinating time to visit, which made the stay truly immersive and gave us a deeper understanding of the country’s culture. I really recommend the food at Royal Escape, we loved the variety of the breakfast and the dinner choices and menu. The apartment was very spacious and had three rooms which was great for travelling with little kids. Loved the space and how clean the house was. Excellent value for money

It was country side and quiet to our liking . everything was really great otherwise , Miss Pat was really helpful and breakfast was delicious. And anyone should try her famous wings 😍, have nothing bad to say about my stay , would recommend here to anyone when coming to st Lucia .

We were stunned at quite how beautiful the apartment was at Royal Escape. The location of the property was perfect, just far enough way from the tourist areas, but close enough to local amenaties. The quality of the accommodation was outstanding. Clean, tidy and fitted to a great standard, we could not have been more comfortable. Pat and her family was so very warm and they really made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Pat was an excllent host, always checking that we were comfrotable and responding quickly to any needs we had. Pat gave us great hints and tips on places to visit and when they were best to visit. We will definatly look to return to Royal Escape in the future!

“5 family nights in Saint Lucia”

We had the 3-bedroom apartment on the ground floor and the best thing to describe it is - spacious! Comfortable beds, variety of appliances and little things one needs. Pool is literally 3 m from the apartment door, with a convenient outside shower. Parking is just in front and the location is very useful - roughly the same distance from main St Lucia sights (same distance to Pigeon Island and northern beaches, as to the Pitons). Pat is great host, communicates quickly and effectively and helps out both with small issues in the apartment or with Saint Lucia advice.

Pat was an incredible hostess. She is extremely friendly and very helpful. She recommended the places to visit. She cooked us fish stew which was delicious and also gave us souvenirs to take home. This was very nice and generous of her. Housekeeper Lucy was excellent too. We had a lovely 31 nights stay. Having her on site was a bonus. The apartment was very comfortable and the whole property is very safe and clean.
