Maria is a wonderful host who makes you feel at home as soon as you enter the Sunbird Bungalow. The place has everything that we needed, and more. Bonus points: Anse Louis is just 5 minutes walking and you can see a stunning sunset.

The owner of the place is such a good person! She helps you with everything! The accommodation and facilities were super clean. The environment is really quiet and safe. I was sad that we had another reservation for a different place for the rest of our holiday, i would have rather stayed in Sunbird bungalow. I can warmly recommend this place.

The bungalow was excellent, with everything we needed for our stay. Maria, the owner, is an amazing person; she gave us all the tips we needed to explore the island. Highly recommended.

Stylish place with the best owner: 🌴 After a long trip to Seychelles Maria met me and my friend with homemade fresh juice, bananas from her garden, papaya from her brother's garden and passion fruits. 🌴 Maria gave us for free a big canister of water. 🌴 Excellent work of flush toilet and shower drain, availability of a removable shower. 🌴 Gave us her bus trip card with which bus ride extra cheap (10 Scr). 🌴 Explained on map where we could find best beaches and so on. 🌴 Gave us possibility to decide which currency it would be convenient for us to pay (Scr, $, €). 🌴 Safe place (Maria almost all the time at home nearby bungalow + her dog shows you if someone is coming). 🌴 Maria helped us with taxi with good price. 🌴 If you need something like beach towels, Maria is always ready to help. 🌴 Nearest Anse Louis beach was wavy at the end of June but you have an access to Port Luney by bus #9 (30 minutes ride, 1 bus per hour). And I missed that in 3 bus stops by bus #11 also non-wavy beach Anse A La Mouche. Next time I should examine it. 🌴 Good  assortment in Ashmitha Super Market: in 10-15 minutes walk (even flip flops while there were no flip flops in STC). Something even cheaper vs. STC. 🌴Nice Bibi takeaway in 15 minutes walk. 🌴 Good price. 🌴Good ventilation inside, clothes, for example, in the bathroom dry quickly. The air conditioner works well. There is no limit to perfection. That will be great to: - put a clock with local time to living room or kitchen; - put a wringing mop in the bathroom.

“Excellent accommodation with a warm and welcoming host. A great base to explore the South West part of Mahe with its man”

The Bungalow was comfortable and well appointed and contained everything we needed for a 5 night stay. Maria our host, was exceptionally warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home. Maria gave us recommendations as to where to eat and the best beaches to visit. Maria also helped is navigate the local buses which were an incredibly cheap and easy way to get around the island. Anse Louis beach was just 5 minutes walk away and BiBi’s takeaway (or eat in) was just a 20 minute walk away along with 2-3 well stocked supermarkets.

It was such a lovely stay! It would be a great pleasure for us to return at this place. The accommodation is so cozy, clean, modern, comfortable, and the host Maria is such a nice welcoming person! This place is definitely a gem on the island.

We liked the friendly and helpful host, beautiful bungalow, sweet smell of the flowers, lovely garden and that the accommodation were walking distance from the pretty Anse Louis.

Mrs maria very friendly and hospitality, Very clean and organiser thinks inside the house,nice area also.

The place is very quiet, well equipped and the owners are very friendly. Martina (the owner's daughter) welcomed us and gave us a lot of information about the places to visit. The location of the bungalow is perfect to visit the south of Mahe (we had our own car).

Convenient location and because of Maria we felt as if we are at home , she is really a kind , helpful and likeable person!

The hostess was very friendly, nice! We felt as at home! Very clean, everything provided! There is a friendly elderly dog:) And beautiful garden with different flowers! Enjoyed staying there!

We had an amazing time in Sunbird bungalow. Miss Maria is so nice and helpful person. She gave us the best tips on visiting places on Mahe and about everything else we needed to know, she even help us renting a car and gave us delicious fruits from her garden everyday. She is the best guide you can possible have! The place was very clean, well decorated (and so her gorgeuos garden) and has everything you need for comfortable stay. We felt very safe and at home at her place, partly because of her playful dog Zivah too 😊 Also we liked the location of the place (west coast), we liked the fact it's not very touristic and you have a chance to feel local vibe there. We really could not ask for more, if we will come back on Mahe, we come back in Sunbird bungalow too 😊

Very elegant, clean and quiet, and the owner is a very nice lady. Makes you feel at home. This is a great place to stay and visit the whole of Mahé (provided that you have a car). If I come again I'll gladly stay here again!
