“Safe, quiet neighbourhood apartment within easy walk of sea-front and glamorous San Sebastien”

A great property for 2 couples as it has 2 bathrooms. Really roomy and well-thought out accommodation. We were only staying 2 nights but plenty of kitchen and other equipment if you are planning a longer stay. Safe parking for the car. Quite a pleassant walk to the sea-front area. We found a fantastic neighbourhood restaurant 7/10 mins walk away, totally unpretentious delicious food. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Flat was in a good location. Nice and bright Has potential . Layout of flat good. Communication prior to trip was very good but stopped day of arrival. 2 phone calls and message unanswered .

“Quiet, clean, spacious refuge in the city.”

The apartment is clean and comfortable. Having 2 bathrooms was very convenient. There was plenty of space for my family of 4 (with two children and two adults). The walk to the Onderatta beach took about 15 minutes. It wasn't too far, and there's a good grocery store on the way. The apartment is near several restaurants also, although we didn't go to any restaurants on this side of the city. Communication from the owners is excellent. They patiently responded to my several questions prior to arrival, and they provided some great recommendations for restaurants and activities. I was apprehensive about using an online check in code for apartment access, but it all worked perfectly. Onderatta beach, walkable from the apartment, is a little less crowded than the main part of La Concha beach, and it was our favorite beach, with a good bar. Although both beaches get a lot of people. The apartment comes with a parking pass for a garage in Gros, the neighborhood East of the old town. This makes visiting the Old Town, convenient for tourist activities, including the beach at Gros, which has bigger waves than La Concha. The Old Town is about a 10 minute walk from the parking garage. It takes about 15 minutes to drive to the parking garage in Gros from the apartment. Street parking is available near the apartment for overnight. Overall, I would stay here again. It's very comfortable. When staying here, it's probably better to plan your day ahead in order to plan for driving and parking. With that understanding, it lives up to its name of being a quiet refuge in the city. We would drive to the Old Town in the morning, do one tourist activity, come back in the afternoon and walk to Onderatta. Sometimes we would drive back to the Old Town in the evening, but realistically you must plan 1/2 hour to get there (including the walk from the parking garage in Gros) and 1/2 hour to get back. It was fine for us, because we didn't go the old town each...

“Worst experience”

Absolute worst experience I have had with renting through booking. I was told that as soon as all the guests fill in the necessary information, we would get access to the keybox. However we never received the code. On the day of our arrival we still had not received anything from the owners and I couldn't reach them. Email, texts, calls, nothing worked and they did not reply. We stood in front of the apartment for 2 hours trying to get in contact with them. After waiting for so long there was no choice for us but to take the last bus back home, since we did not have a place to sleep. When we were already back home (late at night) the owners finally replied to a last warning from booking. Suddenly they mailed me the access codes and pretended like nothing was wrong. The next morning they even sent me a text saying how they hoped we enjoyed the apartment. They know we did not stay the night there. We want a full refund but the owners don't respond to our messages (again) and simply took our money for nothing in return. Worst experience, our day was ruined. Don't book this place.

the apartment was very clean with great facilities. a huge one for me was the beds. They are actually comfortable. I love this as it’s something I hate when we go away, so I was so pleased. it was so easy to access the apartment, it’s spacious for a family. there’s a washing machine so we could refresh towels etc. Netflix for kids. spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms. It was ideal for our stay.
