The staff is very welcoming and kind.The hotel is wonderful, built in stone and wood. Our room had an astonishing view and a cute fire place. We absolutely loved that they take care of the cats around.

The atmosphere and the location

The room was great, the bathroom was a bit tight. It's a special place, we definitely recommend.

Beautifully decorated antique roon, Amazing view from the balcony ,its quite high up on a hill and you get magnificent views. However,the bathriom is tiny and we didnot get the roon we had reserved in our booking..

It was exactly what we hoped for- a beautiful classic ‘chalet’ feel. Staff were so lovely, breakfast was ample, recommendations to local restaurants was perfect. The view- unbeatable!

We liked the room the most. Spacy, authentic, nice view, and of course the fireplace! No need to mention it was clean.

The room was really pretty! Some of the highlights for us: its traditional decoration, fireplace and the view to the pine trees and the nearby mountains from our windows. Although outside was chilly, in our room we were warm and slept comfortably. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet downstairs and the view from the dining room was breathtaking. It was easy to park outside the hotel and the gardens were really nice as well!

The view of this hotel is amazing, in a secluded location, away from noise. Beautiful view of the mountains and beer by villages. The rooms were very cosy and the staff were very helpful.

Beautiful place built with rock on a hill with an amazing view of Trikala. When it was time for breakfast we realized that there was a variety to choose from and everything was fresh and delicious. Moreover, the staff were very polite and helpful.

I took the time to read some older negative reviews, and they are all liars! Goes to show that when people are nasty, Karens that don't get their way will find something to complain about. Like that lady that said she came late back and couldn't get in. The fact that she's technologically challenged is not the hotel staff's fault. There is a keypad installed that you tap your room key to enter. Or that other guy who demanded the staff wake up in the middle of the night, past 10 p.m., to get him firewood. Be real, dude. They aren't servants. You could have asked for extra in the morning, and they would have brought that to your room. They came by mind before they went home to ask if I needed anything and what to bring me. There was not a single thing I asked at a reasonable time, while being polite, I didn't get it! The room was like it came out of a fairytale page. I initially booked a double room and was upgraded to a room that fit 4 people. The stuff was amazing, helped me with my every need, provided tips for the area, offered me coffee once I arrived. There is not a single bad thing I can find about this hotel and the people who own and run it. I needed a taxi ride from Ksylokastro to the hotel, and they found me a great driver. They took my laguege upstairs without me even asking. I arrived early and had no problem waiting, since I knowingly booked an early train. They immediately checked if the room was ready and checked me in. I had a small accident with the boards holding up the mattress, and they immediately fixed it for me. One of my days, I slept in and missed breakfast, and they came to check up on me and see if I'm doing okay. If you think I have special treatment at no extra cost, you'd be correct. But I must say that a little kindness goes a long way!
