Porfiron was originally built in 1850 and has been carefully renovated to provide spacious guestrooms with original features and free internet access in the village of Ano Pedina. The owners at Porfiron offer just 8 tastefully decorated rooms, to provide a more personalised service. Each room has retained its historic features, with ornate wooden ceilings. Most offer a fireplace. Porfiron's restaurant serves regional cuisine using ingredients grown in their own garden or the surrounding countryside. Breakfast includes homemade jams and bread. The location in Ano Pedina is perfect for exploring the Vikos Gorge and Zagori. Free parking is available to guests at Porfiron.

“Fabulous stay in a beautiful region”
We loved everything about our stay here. The room and house is beautiful, comfy bed, warm shower. The breakfast had fresh ingredients (I particularly appreciated the tea!) and was just right for starting the day. The family were also incredibly helpful with their recommendations of where to visit in the region, which really helped us to make the most of our short time there. There is also a restaurant just behind the house that does great food. Perfect.

A fantastic location surrounded by nature in a small and quiet village. The owners are super nice people, and they did their best to make our stay as remarkable as possible. The breakfasts were exceptional. Some of the food they served they made by themselves and everything was just delicious. The building is an old renovated house and all the furniture is old-stylish.

This was a brilliant stop. Great food and beautiful rooms. The team couldn't have helped us more with the logistics of hiking the Vikos Gorge. We hope to visit again.

We had an excellent stay in Porfyron. The location is very convenient for visiting a number of villages and places of interest. The hosts were very friendly and eager to assist us. Breakfast was very good with local produce. We also enjoyed an excellent dinner at the restaurant.

Beautiful and friendly family hotel. Warm and kind owners, excellent breakfast and dinner. Good location for travelers in zagoria. Wanderful garden.
