“Amazing place”
Amazing location. Super serene and peaceful. Not difficult to reach - there is a direct ferry from Bergen. The room was stunning, with the most amazing view. The hotel itself was very thoughtfully and tastefully designed - lots of art everywhere too, as well as an on site gallery! All the staff were really warm and hospitable. Highly recommend for a calming and relaxing time in nature. If you are here during the week then you might be able to visit their trout farm!

We stayed 1 night as a family of 2 adults and 3 kids in an apartment and really enjoyed it. Its a great place to just relax. They have apartments for 7-8 people in the red building above the restaurant which are well equipped and had good noise isolation (somehow the picture on bookingsite show only the rooms in the villa). The breakfast was outstanding and was in the villa. The restaurant was spacious with good view and offered a good variety of meat and fish dishes and also had a menu for children. Every staff member was very friendly and helpful We could charge our electric car for free. Highlight of our trip was the walk on the hill nearby with an amazing view, there was nobody else there (there are small parking areas at the main road and then follow the sign "tursti")

Beautiful location, love the history of the palace, amazing food, good value considering how special it is! Comfy bed, good shower, ace breakfast. Friendly staff! Lounge in Swiss villa is amazing, so cozy, great to have the kitchen to make teas etc. Too
