Good transit hotel

Noone speaks English .., in a hotel… I reserved a booking but they said they were full and I had to wait for like 2hours and then they day yeah sorry cannot help you

Very comfortable beds and pillows , drinks and croissants available. Helpful staff, delicious breakfast, short walk to centre. Everything about this hotel was perfect for our short stay.

The AC didn’t work nor did the bath. The staff were very helpful and changed the room. The AC was working but ineffective, the bath worked though. I was told I would receive a partial refund which I have not seen yet.

The hotel's entrance and lobby were under construction, which meant loud noises, walking around in dirt and construction workers who kept smoking inside the lobby (!). The breakfast was very basic, with shortage of plates, bread, eggs etc. There were maybe 1-2 people from the hotel that were running around trying to backfill everything, but they were all over the place and it took a lot of time to be able to get a clean plate. There wasn't any room to sit to have breakfast and overall it was very chaotic. The rooms themselves were basic and not particularly clean. Additionally, there's one elevator that was incredibly slow and consistently occupied so we ended up taking the stairs up and down, which wasn't fun considering we were on floor 5.

“Relaxed stay, a 10-min walk from the city centre.”

Good location - it is away from the crowd and is around 10 mins walk to the happening area. Good enough space for two in the room, and with a balcony with a tea table and chairs. Neatly maintained. Decent options for breakfast. Opted for private parking at additional cost. Did not have to take the car to visit the key areas as those could be covered by foot. They also informed us after checking out that we had left our sunglasses in the room and gave it back, which was great. There is a good Vietnamese restaurant right next to it. Be sure to get to the right IBIS hotel, as there are multiple IBIS hotels in Annecy- we went to the right one in our second attempt.

The breakfast is simple but enough choice for kids. They offer a coffee machine and a kettle in the reception for the whole day. The reception is very friendly. It’s nice to just walk to the town along the lake. Room is small but well equipped with the coffee machine and clean bathroom. Recommend to book the private parking lot.

The fresh pressed orange juice at breakfast was great and the staff was friendly.

Good hotel close to city centre and also railway station. currently under refurbisment so feeling will be even better soon

The lobby is cozy. The breakfast was good with some good local products. The room was big and confortable and it had a nice view of the mountains.
