“Great location”

Our favorite place. We enjoyed the stay. The rooms are very comfortable and cozy. A lot of love for the details. Very nice breakfast with a lot of food. Nice for some who want’s a bit of peace.

Very friendly and hospitable hosts. Nice bedroom with an on-suite bathroom. The interior of the dining room area and the lounge is tasteful and calming and there is a lovely terrace by the water where you can relax. The breakfast was included in the price and it was excellent. I can really recommend this.

We liked everything, really nice people, super clean and best of all we really feld at home. No hurry, good breakfast and the best hostess. I recommen to go there all year, but especially in april Mai, then the tullips bloom.

The host was very nice and friendly, warm and welcoming. The dinner and breakfast were very good, the place is secluded next to a lake, you can go for a swim from the rrstaurant deck, which is great after a hard day cycling.

A cosy and incredibly welcoming haven with amazing food! Our hosts made us feel so at home, even our dog :) nothing was too much trouble and the cozy rooms and dining/relaxing area made us wish we could stay longer!

We had a wonderful time at this cozy hotel located right on the lakefront. The setting is peaceful and picturesque — perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel instantly at home. The atmosphere was intimate and homely, and the breakfasts were delicious and varied. We’d love to come back again. Highly recommended!

“Well-serviced pension at the end of North-Holland”

This pension is almost at the end of West-Friesland very near the shore. But its terrace overlooks a lake full of ducks, which is nice and relaxing, especially after a long day of exploring the surroundings and the tulip fields. The setting sun gives it a perfect ambiance. The pension itself offers spacious living and dinner room with lots of drink choices. The extra space is all nice as the rooms themselves offer simple chairs and some space. But they offer a decent bed and a hot shower. The area is very silent and though the walls are not all too noise cancelling, you still have quite a good sleep. Reception by the owner is perfect and friendly as is the breakfast. It is quite Dutch but there is enough of everything. There is a 'for sale sign' outside so be quick to enjoy the hospitality of the host

“Perfect spot to explore North Holland, easy going”

Breakfast was always good, with fresh fruit, homemade jams and muesli. Endless coffee tea etc. Optional evening meal was freshly preared with great home made soups and options for main course. extra towels available, including for our dog who was made very welcome too Loads of free parking space Great terrace with sun all day.

“Very nice place and host”

The place is very well situated on a small lake, so the view in the evening or in the morning, from the terrace, is very calm and nice. In summer you can swim but it was a bit cold in May! The host (I forgot his name) was very welcoming, as we arrived hungry after a day on a bicycle, he gave us soup and wine even though the kitchen was closed. The room has a very good view on the lake, and is comfortable. The breakfast on the terrace was perfect as well!
