We stayed at Divan Cukurhan for one night as a family of three and were very satisfied. The atmosphere of the hotel is truly special — a perfect blend of historical charm and modern comfort. The room was clean, cozy, and well equipped. We especially liked the room itself: the wooden window frames and wooden flooring create a sense of warmth, comfort, and eco-friendliness — a very pleasant, “alive” atmosphere. Both the room and the bathroom were warm and spacious. The bed was wide with a firm mattress — exactly how we like it, and we slept very comfortably. The staff were very attentive and friendly, with a genuine desire to make guests’ stay as comfortable as possible. Unfortunately, we didn’t have a chance to try the breakfast, as we had an early departure to the airport at 5 a.m. A special mention goes to the perfect location — in the old town area by the citadel, directly opposite the entrance, with a beautiful view from the window. During the day, it is quite lively, but after 7:00 p.m. it becomes pleasantly quiet — so quiet that you can even hear the sound of raindrops. The hotel’s interior is a delight in itself: the lobby and second-floor corridors feel like a museum, filled with many antique items and details that invite you to stop and admire them. An excellent option both for a short stay and for a longer visit. We would gladly stay here again.

“very good location, very charming hotel”
Charming hotel just in front of Ankara castle and near to the Museum of Anatolian civilization. The building is a market from the end of 16th century, completely restored in 2006. Central courtyard has been covered by a modern coverage. Rooms and common spaces are beautifully furnished. We were in a large fine room for 4 people with 4 windows and an elegant big bathroom with shower and bathtub. We didn’t have breakfast.

“My Favourite Hotel”
This hotel was one of the reasons I came to Ankara and it lived up to my expectations. The staff were very helpful and friendly and go out of their way for guests. The breakfast is excellent. I ate lunch there too, superb. My room, Emperor's Room, was very special. I enjoyed my stay immensely.
