Overview
The 4-star Hotel Friesacher is located in Anif’s centre, 5 km outside of Salzburg. It offers a cocktail bar, a wellness centre and a heated outdoor pool. “Perfect”
I didn’t realise my room had been upgraded until I walked in - wonderful surprise. Facilities (spa/pool) were perfect, location and transport was without fault. Staff were wonderful.

“A historic hotel for me, it’s charming and clean, the food is great. It’s a shame that my stay was spoiled by a faulty A”
It’s rare to get crispy bacon and cooked eggs nowadays, they had that here! I loved the breakfast. My room was nice, and it had a balcony. They have a nice underground garage. The hotel has 3 surrounding restaurants: buffet; beer house and more premium dining.

Brilliant location and only a simple 20 minute bus ride - post outside the hotel - to central Salzburg. Ample parking Great restaurant and spa facility Bedrooms very spacious

“Nice experience, no complaints.”
Came from Belgium with my car. They also have an underground parking, even for SUV's. You can only enter with a badge and they have luckily camera's everywhere. So you feel save parking your car there. That was a big plus for me, especially when it's difficult to park in Salzburg. Will come again.

Always a pleasant stay in this hotel. Rooms are spacious, clean and breakfast is very delicious. Only thing missing is a coffee machine in the room. All in all a nice place to stay a night or more.

The absolute best of the best breakfast,good secure parking,efficient and speedy reception team,spotlessly clean room and hotel.The only downside was the wifi which in 2025 was surprisingly poor,however I put that down to the position of Anif with the mountains. Thankyou

“The perfect place to stay to see Salzburg.”
This was a very nice place. Great staff, the facilities were excellent and the ambiance was great. Location was perfect. Breakfast was incredible, included hotel made jams and jelly, omelets prepared perfectly. Spa with heated pool was super clean and heated.
