The owner of the place was the kindest and the most friendly person! I stayed for almost a week. Every day he served a great coffee and did his best to make this place the great place for everyone to stay. I felt like staying at home. It was very clean and comfortable.

Great hostel near the dock to go to Ilha Grande. Clean and a great kitchen. Felipe was awesome and made me feel at home far away from home. 10/10, would stay again!

“Convenient hostel for transfers to/from Ilha Grande”

Very convenient if you’re looking for a short stay to move in or out of Ilha Grande. The hostel is indeed located in walking distance of both the pier and the bus station. A supermarket is located next door and the facilities are good, clean and comfortable.

“Very clean but could be better organised”

The place was really cleaned and well located. The owner Felipe was super nice and always very fast to help but I think he needs someone to better manage the place. The check in was a bit messy and the day of departure he told me there is a charge of 20$ after the checkout time if I remained in the hostel even though I just used the toilet and not even the kitchen. It was the first time they asked me money after the checkout just to use the toilet in a hostel and I’ve travelled all over the world in over 50 hostels. In the end he didn’t make me pay but I think it was a bit rude to tell me this.

Filipe is a great host ! What a nice and friendly guy, on the first evening of my arrival, after we get to know each other with the others guests, he offered that we go for a midnight bath on a beach of Angras dos Reis. This was unexpected and really fun. For the rest, the bedroom and bathroom and kitchen have the necessary for simple travelers, it's clean and well situated in Angras. If you have to soenf some days there, go to Valens Hostel, Filipe is the best 👌

Nice location to explore Angra dos Reis and take the ferry/boat to Ilha Grande. Welcoming Atmosphere!

Felipe, the owner, is more than great and always ready to help. The facilities are extremely clean and the internet is very good!! He helped me park the car while I visited Ilha Grande, and I left him the keys. Felipe is very trustworthy. Whenever I return to Angra, I’ll definitely stay there again. Big thank you Felipe. 🫶💪

“A simple place - but friendly!”

Location next to a fine supermarket - Great move! :) Friendly and flexible Staff. A small and "simple" place - but great if all you need is a bed for the night (and a kitchen.. and a supermarket :)

Das Hostel liegt weniger als 10 Fußminuten vom Zentrum und den Bootsanlegern entfernt und hat den Supermarkt gleich nebenan. The large kitchen has all necessary equipment. Filipe, the owner was very helpful with scheduling and booking the boat ride to Ilha Grande and back. He was flexible in terms of changing dates for my stay. I really had a good time here. The hostel is less than 10 minutes walk from the center and the boat docks and has the supermarket right next door. The large kitchen has all necessary equipment. Next to the hostel is supermarket. We had a private room, AC worked well. Shared kitchen was good. The owner/staff was really friendly.

The place was as we expected. We stayed there for 2 nights. We went for a boat trip so we didn’t spend so much time in the hostel in the end. Location was close to the port!
