Stayed here before already, in 2017. Incredible location in the very center of Angra, two steps from the beach. Very nice and helpful staff. The room was quiet and comfortable. Excellent value for money. Would definitely come again if given the opportunity.

We were in high season so there was not much choice around and the hotel is correct and calm for a reasonable price.

Our experience at Hotel Zenite was terrible! We arrived late at night with our little girl, so we wanted to get her to bed ASAP because she was already asleep in the car. While we were parking the car in front of the hotel, the receptionist was outside talking to the friend, so they saw us park. Later when we took the room keys, I stayed with my little girl in the car until my husband took the luggage to the room. To my surprise when I arrived to the room there were two separate beds in a small room, and we booked a triple room. I went back to the receptionist saying that they had probably given me the wrong room, but after several phone calls it turned out that they made a mistake in the reservation and most of all, there was no triple room left. Few more calls were made and as a solution they offered to separate us. Me with the child in one room and my husband in the other room, or to go to an other hotel they have. As after all that it was already midnight and we only booked one night, we wanted to go to sleep as soon as possible, so we decided to join the beds and sleep the three of us there. The receptionist had to make a few more phone calls so they could agree to charge us for a double room instead of a triple room. As if that wasn't enough for the night when we wen to shower the shower stall was turning into a lake as it had drainage issues. The next morning when we left the building to look for a place to have a decent breakfast, as breakfast at the hotel was bad, we had another unpleasant surprise. We had a parking fine on our rented car. As I said before, when we arrived the receptionist was outside and she saw us park. Additionally, before we went to our room we specifically asked her if it was ok to park there and she said yes. When we showed the parking fine to another receptionist that was working there the next morning, she told us they will fix that and she took the fine. It was a € 6 fine...
