“Great location close to city centre but needs a bit of a face lift”
Each of the rooms had an amazing view of the ocean. However, the facility definitely could use a renovation. The carpeted hallway floors have seen better days and were quite musky. The main hotel entrance and dining area are well maintained. The hotel has parking facilities but was rarely promoted by the staff. I am assuming its because guests could find a more convenient spot on the road.

“Nice hotel close to the city center”
The hotel is in a great location very close to the city center. Everyting in the city is in walking distance. Our room was big and comfortable, we enjoyed the pool as well. I would stay here again.

The receptionist that did our check in was very nice. Nice light sistem to let them know if you wish your room cleaned the next day.

“This hotel suited our purposes well as a quiet place for reflection at a sad time.”
The view was 5*. Absolutely stunning and completely fascinating watching the harbour and all the comings and goings. The balcony allowed for a superb view. The room was spacious, as was the bathroom and regularly cleaned. The pool is a good size, with a small outdoor area in the sun. The bar is a quiet area with a simple menu at reasonable prices. We enjoyed this space in the evenings and the staff were very friendly. We did not visit the island on holiday and this hotel offered us a place for contemplation at a very sad time.

The location is premium (over Angra's marina and overseeing Mount Brasil) and the rooms are great: very spacious and with an incredible view.

“Adequate but not as luxurious as expected”
We loved the view from our room. You can see the harbour and the ocean. The beds are good, and there's a shower and a bath (with jacuzzi options). You can use the pool and ask for free towels at the reception. The breakfast is very adequate. There are various things to choose from and lots of fresh fruit.
