Our lodge had all the facilities we needed during our stay and there are other annexes at the disposition of the guests: grill terace, coffee room, swimming pool, program recommendations & travel books for the island, etc. The view is beautiful from every corner of the place, as it's right on the shore of the ocean. The breakfast basket concept is lovely, and it was always delicious and made of fresh local products. We loved it!

“Great for one person, exceptional value”

The location is incredible. Right outside the premise, you have a Miradouro towards the Ilheu. There's more than enough parking space. Host and staff were really friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good and a lot, including some customization options and variations. The lodge itself was nice and had enough space for one person. Price-Value ratio was really good (mid season). House keeping could be requested free of charge at any time.

The location is directly on the sea which is great and you can walk from there next to the sea to the village nearby ☀️ everything you need is there including a nice pool. The breakfast is delivered every morning to your front door in a very sweet basket - very lovely ☺️

Very comfortable and cozy bungalow with amazing breakfast in the basket. ocean from the window! The saltwater pool is a great way to start the day! The oceanfront path is perfect for strolling.

“Short stay to explore Terceira”

Alberto was a super host, very caring and generous. Was always checking in with guests. The cat at the property is great too! Very affectionate and an excellent breakfast / pool companion

Very clean, great AC, comfortable bed, pleasant host!

An amazing place to stay, tucked just behind a view point so easy parking and a fabulous view. Whilst the rooms, small cabins, are compact there is room for storage and facilities beyond the room are excellent. The pool has a wonderful view. Breakfast is provided in hampers, left outside the room. Attention to detail is incredible and the hospitality was excellent. It is possible to walk along a coastal foot path to restaurants/bars. It is a short drive into Angra Heroisma.

Breakfast basket! Bathrooms! Views for days! We LOVED our stay at ALLUar. I really think the pictures don't do it justice – the location is insane. Alberto and his wife have considered every detail and we noticed the small touches, from the homemade yogurt to the "PR manager" cat to the cross-stitched farewell. The cabin is small, but with lots of smart shelving and cupboards so there was lots of room for my friend and I – though I'd recommend it more for couples. Having the covered veranda makes a big difference. I'm already dreaming about how to return here and stay a full week. The place is really relaxing and calm. You will feel refreshed and cared for.

Gorgeous location just by a viewpoint on the south of the island, I had a nice view of the ocean, even from my room. Lovely attention to detail and care for the guests by the hosts. They brought a picnic basket full of breakfast items every morning to the door.

It was a cosy room/bungalow, very well-equipped! We could cook (they could fit even a microwave). The best part was the surrounding garden, pool, views, but mostly breakfast! A great basket full of delicious food, made with a lot of care. Thank you!

The location amazing, with views of the sunrise and sunset over the ocean. You had a 360 degree view of the sky from the lookout at the lodge. The breakfast was wonderful, delivered to our door in a basket, and enough for our lunch as well.

We loved the view, the location and privacy. It was convenient to get to any part of the island. We loved the basket of food our first morning and the snacks prepared for us. What a treat! The coffee and port available to us during our stay was appreciated. Access to the library, pool and other common areas is a treat. Despite the rain, my friend and I spent two fantastic nights at ALLuar. It’s a cozy cabin, every detail in every corner has been thought out, and you can especially feel the care and consideration in the breakfast basket being left by your door each morning. We also very much appreciate the hosts’ warm presence and helpful suggestions. Last but not least: Falling asleep / waking up to a breathtaking view is unforgettable.

Cute, little bungalows in a very tranquil space. Great views of the ocean! Amazing breakfast basket served every morning - they just leave it by the door and then you can enjoy it either by the pool or simply on the little balcony of your bungalow. Alberto was extremely welcoming when we arrived, showed us the property and gave us many advices - very nice! Given that the bungalows are small, he suggested on taking what you need and leave the rest in the storage, very smart, as we weren't cramped space wise. We loved the walk just by the property that in 15/20 min takes you to the centre of the town, very convenient.
