Stunning location on the edge of Angoville-Au-Plain. Very peaceful setting, yet providing easy access to the Cotentin, D-Day locations and museums, plus Normandy beyond. Well-themed throughout for the Domaine's Battle of Normandy / D-Day setting. Very well sized, comfortable rooms with some period furniture and artefacts. Good continental breakfast included in a relaxed setting in the "Mess" accompanied by period 1940s music. Friendly and very knowledgeable hosts who were more than happy to share that with you. It was the perfect place to stay to feel totally immersed in the area's history for a few days.

Set in a beautiful location and perfect for all the WW2 sites in and around Normandy. Domaine Airborne was one of our stays whilst on a round trip around France visiting WW2 sites and we have to say the best stay of our visit. The jeep tour with Charles was exceptional and we would highly recommended this as we learnt and saw a lot of history we would not have known. The breakfast was also amazing and my son keeps talking about this as being the best he has ever had. We will be back again to enjoy this fantastic place. Thank you

Everything. A simply superb place in every way. An Historic building with a marvellous history. From an ancient French farmhouse, to its occupation in the war. Then the American allies and British. Returning to the French. It is sympathetically restored, peaceful, authentic, filled with artefacts, it is a corner of History. A time warp. The vision of this Brilliant charismatic Dutchman, he goes above and beyond to bring history to life. Funny, interesting, and compelling. A gem of a place. Plus big comfy beds, huge rooms and great bathrooms !!

As a lover of history and the countryside, Domaine Airborne was a must visit location. Our host Charles was exceptional both as the host and as a knowledge guide for the surrounding areas. The Jeep tour was a fantastic way to immerse yourself fully in the history of the events surrounding D-Day as well as the history of Domaine Airborne itself. (I do recommend the D-Day experience at Dead Man's Corner before doing the Jeep tour) The accommodation is tastefully modernised and comfortable while keeping with the buildings 1940's style. As a whole, the experience was a 10/10, I will definitely be returning in the future.

We have chosen Domaine Airborne for our place to stay during our D-Day tour. I have to say that as regards atmosphere and getting into the mood, this place is THE place to stay at. History is all over you, literally. The sights on Utah and Omaha beaches, Carentan, St-Mére Église, Azeville etc are within comfortable distance. The staff is absolutely lovely. Special thanks for the packed meals when we left earlier than the breakfast serving would start. What we liked the most was the "Mess" which is a museum in itself. Packed with contemporary memorabilia and the music playing in the background really takes you back in time. If we ever visit Normandy again (and sure hope to do so), we'll definitely stay here again.
