This is a place that tells a story. Full of history , setting is fabulous. Rooms were incredible. To wake up in the morning and hear a donkey calling out for breakfast . Church bells ringing. Our only disappointment was that we were only there for 1 night. Will definitely be back.

Very nice property, lovely and comfortable rooms (we stayed with three adults and had two rooms), lots of space, lovely old furniture and charming decor. Same in the breakfast room, with some references to the battle of Normandy. Very good breakfast. Attentive host.

“One night memorable”

Welcoming host, clear instructions and to top it all, fabulous room and amenities !! The room had the charm of a 1700 mansion, the decor and furniture was classic. Jacky (the host) prepared a delicious breakfast and it was more than enough to get us going until evening. Though the host spoke only french, she (Jacky) put the best efforts to translate the key words in english, her gesture was sweet !!

The place is so carefully taken care of and the owners are extremely warm. Loved the room, the memorabilia and the amenities, had a wonderful overall experience. Oh, and lovely breakfast!

Beautiful breakfast with selection of pastries, bread, cheese, cured meats, yogurt and coffee or tea. The room itself was beautiful and the house well kept in a historic style. The owner speaks only French so it helped me to practice mine!

Angoville44 is a beautiful farmhouse built in stone. We slept in a large elegant room which was very clean and very well kept with a newly-renovated bathroom. The hosts were very kind, friendly and very nice to us and we loved the breakfast which provided quite a lot of options - cake, fresh pastries, jam, cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, coffee, apple puree, orange juice, etc.

Beautiful property in a quiet village. We stayed one night on a bike tour. Our hostess was very welcoming and our room was beautiful. No restaurants nearby so we had a picnic outside. Breakfast was a treat - homemade cakes and yoghurt as well as fruit and pastries.

What a beautiful place. We absolutely loved our rooms and the decor was wonderful - it felt like stepping back in time. The beds were super comfy and everything was clean and fresh. We chose Angoville44 for its location — close to Utah Beach and within reasonable distance of Omaha Beach. However, what truly left a lasting impression was the remarkable hostess. A stunning woman with refined manners and exquisite taste, she not only maintains the hotel in immaculate condition, filled with antique furniture and beautiful interiors, but also welcomes guests with sincere warmth and serves delicious, hearty breakfasts made from local ingredients. I haven’t felt such joy and inspiration from any hotel stay in a long time. I’m genuinely inspired by her personal example and wish her continued success. I hope she won’t mind if I share a few lovely photos of the hotel and our room to help future guests appreciate its charm and make the right choice.
