Set in the Brenne Regional Natural Park, Montenaut is housed in a 12th century building 2 km from Angles-sur-l’Anglin, 36 km from Châtellerault. Free private parking is available on site. It was a privilege to stay in a historic building perched on the bank of the river. It was freezing cold and snowing when we arrived but the heating had been on throughout the afternoon and the place was warm and welcoming

“Like a fairy tale”
Dream location in the National Park de la Brenne, surrounded by nature with an amazing view from the room balcony on the Anglin river. The village nearby is beautiful and offers a choice of bars and restaurants. Yves is a perfect host, helping us with very useful information and offering a delicious breakfast with local produce.
