Overview
The family-run Anestis is located in Agkistro Village of Serres, just 300 metres from the Thermal Springs and 500 metres from taverns and mini markets. It offers studios with free Wi-Fi and a furnished patio overlooking the garden. Fitted with wrought-iron beds and dark-wooden furnishings, the studios of Anestis have a kitchenette with fridge and kitchenware. Each unit is equipped with a TV with cable channels. The private bathroom is stocked with a hairdryer. Anestis lies within 50 km from Serres Town and 150 km from the centre of Thessaloniki. Lake Kerkini, one of the most important birding sites in Greece, is at 40 km.

“Excellent stay”
Host was amazing. Room was comfortable and cosy. Plenty of parking. Did not get a chance to take advantage of the hot springs unfortunately. Relatively quiet sleep. Good Internet speed. Was the day before Easter and had an early start so we did not get to try their breakfast. Location was great and close to few restaurants on the high street.

Very friendly hosts. The apartment has everything one needs, very clean and cozy place. The property has a beautiful garden with an assortment of various aromatic plants. Great breakfast. We most surely will come back here.

“Extraordinary vibe on a peaceful location.”
Host was careful to all our needs in order to secure the best staying for us. First time we stayed at this location in July 2022 (two adults and one kid) and then we came again in September 2022 this time four adults and one kid. Both times we felt exceptionally good. Even though the husband of the host did not speak English he was trying his best to help us whenever we needed anything. Breakfast was exceptional while being served on the terrace in front of the room having in front of us a beautiful view of the mountain. We will for sure stay at this location next time we will travel to Greece.

“Friendly, homey place surrounded by nature”
We really enjoyed our stay at this cosy place at the end of the village - and regretted not having been able to stay more than one night. The host couple is really friendly and helpful. You can feel at home here, since this is their own private home and garden. The surroundings are beautiful with lush greenery, fresh air and hilly country. The view from here is great.
