Everything was excellent, Erica cleaned the flat every day, she provided tea/coffee, bottles of water daily, plus on arrival a welcoming delicious cake. Fantastic location.

Thoughtful and friendly host, who welcomed me with a warm fireplace after a rainy day hike on “Via di Francesco”. I liked the town so much that I decided to stay another night, Erica managed in no time to arrange this for me. Absolutely perfect place, good shower, comfy bed, amazing view, and even a selection of free drinks and snacks.

Very clean, with all possible facilities and great views on the valley. In the very centre of the town within a pleasant walk from everything and super quiet. The owner is just simply, wonderfully amazing!

This place is located on a quiet side street just a few steps from the restaurants and the main square in the charming, medieval town of Anghiari. The windows of Nero Gioconda offer stunning views especially for lovers of Tuscan views of hills covered with cypresses and pine trees and the roofs of medieval castles. Staying at this cosy place is even more enjoyable because everything is perfectly clean and pleasant, the beds are comfortable, the bedding is soft to the touch, and the room is full of snacks – coffee, tea, water, and sweets. In addition, the extremely hospitable and caring hostess, Erica, took care of us from the moment we arrived in the vicinity and supported us with every request we made until we left. She also surprised us with a few surprises – a better room than we had booked and... a delicious local cake as a welcome gift!

A fabulous location with a stunning view. All was comfortable and lovely, right down to thoughtful additions like a coffee machine.

“Perfect house in a perfect location with an exceptional host”

We loved absolutely everything about our visit. What a property in a perfect peaceful town with the most amazing host Erica and a view to die for. Such a generous host providing us with water, juices, nibbles, chocolate and the most fabulous cake from the local bakery. Within seconds Erica would answer our WhatsApp messages and even came to meet us at the nearby car park to walk us to her property. As and when we return to Anghiari we will definitely book Nero Gioconda and then arrange flights etc around her availability. It’s the most amazing place and the best experience of our trip to Tuscany.

I can see why this place gets such amazing reviews and scores. It is an exceptional place to stay, superb value for money, with a very generous host. I have never seen so many coffee sachets (normally I have buy extra myself!)

A beautiful & artistic Bed & Breakfast in the historic centre of Anghiari, close to Sansepolcro, with a truely bella vista to awake to in the morning. Erica is a wonderful host, who welcomed my pet and even gave her dinner. She also provided a delicious breakfast cake with forest berry jam from the best bakery in Anghiari "Forni Bindi". I highly recommend her sweet B&B.

Everything. The location is incredible, the decoration and lovely with a traditional Italian feel. The welcome cake upon arrival that was much needed after a day of travel. The view over the countryside and mountains from the bedroom window. Just stunning.

“Perfect stay”

The Nero Gioconda hotel is situated right in the heart of the old historic centre of Anghiari, the view from the windows overs the Tuscan countryside were spectacular. The room itself was well proportioned with a beautiful modern bathroom, the bed was comfy and the complimentary coffee and water was a nice touch. I've included a picture of the view from my room.

Not easy to do breakfast in general, also the supermarket in the town very expensive.

“Comfortable and great value”

I was delighted to find that our room at Nero Giaconda was a small apartment. It was well equipped and included a variety of treats as well as cooking essentials. It has a fantastic view from the bedroom window. Erica was really lovely and flexible and we were able to check in early. Anghiari is a beautiful town with good restaurants.

Very nice and clean rooms (it was the first time in a guesthouse when I had the cleaning service during our stay), a kitchen wit al that we needed and very, very ind and helpful host (she came and welcomed us even we arrived about 3 hours before we mentioned). We really enjoyed our stay!
