A beautiful place to stay in the Bajos de Toro area. We stayed in a very cozy cabin, well equipped (stove, pots, electric kettle, kitchen utensils, coffee…). The bathroom was wonderful, almost outdoors, with a nice hot shower. The bed was large and comfortable (the pillow was a bit firm, but that’s very personal). There is the option to have meals on-site (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). Alex and Lucia from the restaurant were very attentive to our vegan/vegetarian diet. Alex even prepared a very tasty lentil burger. The property has several waterfalls. We didn’t hike all the way since we chose to explore others in the area, but we walked part of the trail and it was well marked. The Wi-Fi worked well. We had an excellent stay. If I could, I would have stayed longer!

We enjoyed the trails and really great option of food on site. There are some lovely waterfalls. There is always someone to help out

“Wonderful natural location”

This cabin is simply beautiful. I rate it very high because it is exactly what we were looking for. It is situated in a private wooded setting with the next cabin some distance away. It has a full kitchen with gas hob, fridge, sink and sufficient equipment to be independent. The upstairs bed is very comfortable and there are two outside seating areas, one at the front and another with table and chairs upstairs at the rear. There is a restaurant where breakfast is served, which was good and evening meals are available which were also good. Note it closes early. Now, to be sure you will agree with us, note that the approach road is long and very rough, just ok with a regular car. Access to the cabin is over a suspension bridge and a steep narrow spiral staircase. Difficult with bags. Be sure you are happy with this if you are going to enjoy your stay.
