Wonderful hosts Armindo & Helena made us feel very special & welcome. Real insight into agro tourism, great facilities including 18 metre pool. Lots of homemade items & got to see the historic distillery in action. Very hard working couple.

“Like visiting family, and idyllic and authentic oasis”

This place is incredible, the sun was shining, but the warmth of the welcome from the hosts Helena and Edmundo makes you feel like you are visiting family. The property is rustic and full of character, it has extensive grounds which you are free to wander around. The pool was fantastic, our girls absolutely loved it. They have a little sort of self catering kitchen next to the pool if you get food, you can use plates and glasses etc. Everything is so relaxed. Our girls fell in love with Noori the dog and Bimba and Max the cats. The breakfasts are delicious, made by Helena and Edmundo makes eggs to order. Our girls spent time with Edmundo whilst he was making a pig stew for a village celebration, he was like a Grandad to them, it was so heart-warming. Honestly everything is so personable and everyone is made to feel part of a family. It's hard to replicate that feeling of feeling so welcome at a place, but this place made us feel like we didn't want to leave. Yes there is plenty to see in the area, but the days where we stayed around the pool and around the pets was when our girls were happiest. They both teared up when they had to leave, what a truly special place with such warm amazing hosts. Thank you so much

We had the luxury room which was excellent. Balcony overlooking fields and well equipped bathroom. Great breakfast too. Lovely swimming pool which we used, and gym which we didn't. Great location close to major town, but in a quiet village.

What a great place to stay it's in a peaceful location and the house is beautiful. Great swimming pool to cool down in. Courtesy tea and coffee at hand all day. The breakfast is excellent. Our hosts were lovely and very helpful nothing was too much trouble. Made friends with their a adorable black Labrador. Safe parking for our motorcycle Would we book again yes we definitely will.

The breakfast was comprehensive and more than sufficient, room was clean, very comfortable but overlooked a road which wasn't busy, so a small negative. The pool area is particularly nice along with the home made welcoming drink! The hosts will escort you round the premises in particular fruit and herb garden and distillery are worth exploring.

We stayed 2 nights as a romantic getaway whilst children were with grandparents! We had a fabulous time! House is stunning, room very clean and comfortable. Nice swimming pool and the garden is lovely. Breakfast was very good with fresh cake one morning. Owners were very nice and shared the story of the place and made nice local recommendations. I highly recommend this place!

this hotel was beyond our expectations .the owners extremely helpful , owner gave use a private tour of grounds ,as an engineer this was very interesting. grounds had large swimming pool , whirlpool with bar.

This is by far and away one of the best places we've stayed in in a long time, From the minute we were welcomed by Helene and Armindo it felt like visiting family that you actually wanted to spend time with. Firstly, its a beautiful property with a lovely selection of rooms that are well equipped, spacious and airy. If there is anything you cannot find in the room then it will never be too much for the hosts to find. The daily breakfast is a treat and will almost certainly include home made goods that are delicious and usually from their own fruit trees. The property is in a small village that has a couple of very good restaurants, a lovely little café and a store that will more than cover what you may need to purchase. It's handy to have a car but the wonderful beaches of Costa Nova and Torreira are just a short drive away. The pool area is perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring and is always well maintained along with a hot tub, outside dining area and everything else you could ask for. The recommendations from Armindo are great on what to do in the local area (make sure he gives you one of his hand drawn maps) and he's always available to have a chat about the local food and drink of which he's very proud. I think what speaks most about our stay is that our 15 year old daughter loved it and is already talking about going back when she can. I could go on more but i think it's somewhere that needs to be experienced for yourself.
