“Rural accomodation in peaceful countryside.”

Rustic self catering accomodation in rural Spain. Comfortable and cosy. This is the second time we have stayed here , perfect location for Lynx watching though we were unsuccessful this time.

Lovely wooden cabins in an amazing and quiet place in the mountains of Andujar. The owner is very knowledgable (in Spanish) about the surroundings and wild animals and payed much attention to detail, from his own wonderful wildlife photographs in the cabins to the signs with the names of the plants in the garden. A fox came to visit us every evening. Would definitely recommend!

“Beautiful location in the Somiedo mountains”

The accommodation is in a beautiful, quaint village in the mountains of Somiedo. Unfortunately we were there for just one night, but there are clearly very good hikes to explore around the apartments.

Fully equipped houses for self catering in a quiet location in the middle of Sierra de Andújar. Everything was extremely well organised with the possibly to have late evening dinner in the restaurant after lynx tracking. 100 % recommendation if you’re heading to the region.

The bungalows of Paraje San Gines are very well located for those who wish to explore the Andújar Natural Park, namely its varied wildlife and of course the iconic Iberian Lynx. Guillermo is of a unique kindness, making one feel at home really. The bungalows are very clean, confortable, and very well equiped. I strongly recommend this place!

“Great location if you plan to look for a lynx!”

The bungalow was cozy and warm in nature and quiet surroundings. The kitchen was well equipped so that we could cook our meals. Warm water in the showers. There are a lot of places to store your luggage. The host was excellent. He doesn't speak English, and we don't speak Spanish, but we communicated without any issues using Google Translate. He gave us much information on where to see the wildlife, especially a lynx. If you plan to stay there, do a grocery shopping beforehand; it is about 20 20-minute drive on the narrow, winding road to the city. We would stay there again!

Great location and quiet environment. Friendly and helpful host who knows his way around the area. Cottage is great and spacious. Kitchenette is sufficient for 2 people.

Beautiful tranquil location-Guillermo super helpful. We loved the walking, Virgin of Carbeza monument, Los Pinos restaurant (great coffee and Magdalena), Encinjaro reservoir - spotted Lynx and very friendly deer 😊. It was v hot when we were there but Aircon in bedroom worked and so glad we made the booking despite temp. Just adjusted and got up early for treks etc. Highly recommend

“Rural comfort in exceptional Sierra”

Fantastic location near the edge of the huge National Park. Guillaume the host was exceptionally helpful and communicative - gave us a contact for a guided 'safari', allowed us to visit his private finca where there are lynx, kept restaurant open after normal hours so we could eat after the trip, gave us a map and explained points of interest and walks. A joy to talk with someone so full of local knowledge and enthusiasm. Cosy bungalow yet roomy, didn't need the heating at night. Well equipped for the most part, including modern hob and small freezing compartment (not mentioned on the facilities list). Very quiet and tranquil. Good internet. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Guillermo was extremely friendly and helpful. Thanks to him we saw a Lynx. The bungalow was super comfortable and everything we needed. It was incredibly cold outside but we were very comfortable.

Extremely nice and caring owner, who knows incredibly much about the wildlife and happily shares it. Also engages in wildlife projects. The houses are excellently equipped with many small gifts like water, milk, cakes, ... Highly recommend a stay there!

Lovely tranquil country retreat. Comfortable cabin surrounded by nature. Great fresh " home style" cooking and friendly service . The owners coukd not do enough.... tokd us the great places to see local wildlife and made us feel very at home. If a quiet country break in beautiful surroundings is what you want ... book this place. We will be back.
