Overview
Nestled in a lush garden, Le Grand Bleu in Andilana features a sun deck with an infinity pool, bar and overlooks the sea and beach. Free WiFi is available. The spacious and airy bungalows at Le Grand Bleu have a private terrace with a hammock and most of them offer panoramic sea views. They feature a minibar and safe. The restaurant and bar is situated next to the pool with 2 large sun terraces, and offers local and international cuisine, as well as Malagasy specialties and seafood dishes and snack lunches. The location is great with views over the sea. It is far away from the busy parts of the island, and you will not encounter any of the sex tourists here (a reason we chose this place as we had heard this is a serious issue in Nosy Be). The distance from the main town may be an issue if you wanted to go on excursions, but we didn't as it was a quick stop off before heading elsewhere. The restaurant and pool area are nice and a good place to hang out for a day. There's plenty to entertain older children with a pool table, book exchange, board games and a track down to a rocky beach (a few hundred metres). The restaurant staff were lovely, but spoke very little English - though they did try. The fresh lemonade is delicious.

“Gorgeous place!”
The room was lovely, the pool area absolutely beautiful with the view and the staff were amazing. The location was perfect, really close to an absolutely deserted beautiful beach and not far from the busier Andilana beach
