The hotel is in a quiet and peaceful location within the mangroves and the sunset views from the restaurant/pool and terraces are unlike any we have ever seen. The dive centre is right next door and the excursions offered are excellent. The food is very good and the bar is open all day. What makes the hotel is all the staff who are so accommodating and friendly and went out of their way to help us throughout our stay. Special shout out to Jenni, Alex and Vincenzo, the restaurant managers and Chris from the dive centre, who all made our stay very special. We would recommend this hotel and dive centre to anyone visiting Nosy Be!

“Quiet gem in Nosy Be”

We stayed here for 3 nights at Emeraude Lodge and it was perfect. Vincent runs a very tight team there - all very well trained, extremely pleasant and friendly starting from Rio at the reception to Adeema and Matthew at the restaurant. If you’re looking for a quiet place to relax and unwind in Nosy Be with great food, super service and away from the tourist hustle, this is the place to be. They also organise all the tours for you and even accompany you on all tours which was wonderful especially for us as we are not fluent in French or Malagasy. Special shout out to Alix who took great care of us in all the tours. Thanks Vincent. We hope to come again!

“Paradise!”

Incredible room right on the water (do note extreme tides but beautiful when in), lovely pool, great dive centre adjacent, staff some of the most friendly and accommodating we’ve ever encountered.

Everything was amazing. The room terrace with direct view on the ocean and beautiful sunsets. The cleanliness and comfort in the room was 10/10. My friend and I came to scuba dive and the club is on site with amazing professionals and excellent service (I am a padi professional so when I say amazing padi club I know what I am talking about). Max and Thea are great guides. Had one of my best diving trips ever with them. Vincenzo the owner is an amazing host. Super friendly and fun to socialize with. The food was excellent (it was fish and sea fruits all the way for me, but they have lots of other dishes). What more can I say....highly recommended and I will definitely visit again if I come to madagascar next year too.

“A beautiful lodge for those looking for tranquility and beautiful nature”

I have enjoyed my stay a lot. The Lodge is situated in a very special location next to a Mangrove forrest and the landscape is changing depending on the tide. On high tide the water is right next to the balcony, whereas at low tide you can go for a long walk "into the sea". The owner Vincenco cares a lot about his guests.

“Beautiful people and sunsets”

The staff were very friendly and professional, they went out of their way to help me and organise trips to other Islands. Room I have was very comfortable with a/c and a huge terrace with a sofa and 2 chairs overlookincmg the sea. Perfect positioned for spectacular sunsets! The food is good and they were able to provide me with alternatives as the veggie menu, like most in Madagascar, is somewhat limited! The cocktail were delicious. The pool is a good size with a nice sun bed area and overlooks the sea. After a days snorkeling I still went for a swim in the evening! I stayed here for 5 days and will do so again if I ever return to Nosy Be. Thank you so much to all the staff especially Alex who took the time to make sure my day trips were tailored to my mobility needs.

“The most amazing sunsets from Emeraude Lodge!”

The location is perfect and the sunsets from Emeraude Lodge are absolutely amazing!! We had booked for 3 nights but wished we could have stayed longer as the atmosphere was so relaxing. The food options are incredible and delicious. Well done to the Chef/s and thank you to Jenny, Adema (not sure of spelling) and Vincenzo for always checking in on us. We hope to visit you again in the future.

The room was big and spacious

Clean and big property. Each one of the staff member is very helpful and kind. The rooms are equipped with all the essentials and some of the rooms have a very nice view. The price is bit high, but I guess it’s the location you’re paying a bit much for.

“Great location, stunning views”

Really lovely location, with the beach literally on your door step! Vincenzo was a great host who really cares about the comfort of his guests. I really appreciated him organising a day trip for me to Nosy Komba. The internet drops quite often, so I wouldnt recommend for someone who needs stable internet (e.g. for work), but it's perfect for those who want a relaxing, tranquil break - which was perfect for me! I hope to visit again in the future.

The location is on a nice beach with amazing sunsets. From your balcony you overlook the whole beach, which belongs just to the hotel and the diving center. Vicenzo is very helpful in planning your stay in Nosy Be and can arrange your daytrips - including special inside tips. So we rent his motorcycle and spend one day at an amazing beautiful beach - thanks for your advice, Vicenzo :)

The view to the ocean, sunset, sky of the stars are amazing! Facilities are also very well equipped. Especially if you want to learn or do the diving, they have the diving center right beside.
