You can see , that the Hostal was built by a Swiss 🤩 - a really nice change after staying in hostals where you have just a 6 m2 room - so spacious, nice view to the sea, very friendly staff, and a huge good breakfast!

“Comfortable, good value by the water in Ancud”
Hostal Mundo Nuevo has a great location right on the water in Ancud. My room had a sea view and was perfectly comfortable. It was all clean and tidy including the bathroom. The common areas are really nice with a well equipped large kitchen and some lovely spaces for sitting in with a view of the sea. Breakfast was decent and the staff are friendly.

“Wonderful guesthouse in Ancud - beautiful small town in Chiloe”
Beautiful location with garden and sea views - which is just across the road. Staff are super helpful and the breakfasts are outstanding! There is a nice kitchen if you want to cook yourself. Our room was spacious / def recommend!

“A room with a view and still central!”
Everything ! The location is exceptional. The room with a view onto the sea directly and sunset! The staff was super helpful and friendly too. Such a price/value ratio is quite rare. Very close to the centre. The possibility also to go to the restaurant and eat a bite was very practical.

“We had a lovely relaxing few days in Ancud in this exceptional hostal”
Beautiful location with spectacular views over the sea. Close to central square with church and museum. Friendly staff and owner who helped us organise visits. Good kitchen and shared eating area. Excellent breakfast. Highly recommended.

Nice breakfast, spacious room, good bed, private bathroom (in this room) bathroom which seemed almost new and very clean (congrats to the lady 🎩). Bed done and bathroom cleaned up after the first night (2 nights in here). Very nice view from the room and the table. And the workers do their best (slow spanish) so gringos can understand 🙂
