Amazing place! Our hosts were lovely and helpful, providing advice on where to go and the best times to visit. We were also treated to a nightime glow worm tour which was great.

“A secluded adventure in nature at the end of where roads reach on the wild west coast”

Very friendly hosts, super helpful and enthusiastic about showing some of the natural features of the area (such as wildlife and interesting walks). The accommodation is very cosy and comfortable with a quirky two-storey style which I found charming. It's quite a remote place, but very peaceful and with interesting history and nature around the area. Also the rugged landscapes of west coast NZ for windswept scenery.

The house had a wonderful atmosphere and was very comfortable. Sally and Giff were great hosts. We loved the after dusk visit to their gloworm grotto. The dark night sky was amazing. They have an amazing garden and keep bees. It is a truly magical place and fells like another world.

We loved this place!! Peaceful and beautiful. Sally met us at the property and was very welcoming and friendly; she told us information, things to do, etc. She had a lovely vege garden full of produce and gave us beans and tomatoes and more tomatoes to bring back home. Don't miss out on the glow-warm tour in the evening, too. The location is very far from shops and gas stations, so be prepared and enjoy away from busy daily life.

The accommodation was in a beautiful secluded location. With barely any signal, perfect for a digital detox. There is everything you could possible need. Great bedrooms and bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped. The hosts even brought us to a beautiful glowworm open area at night. It was magical.
