Great welcome, idyllic location, friendly staff, great view from the front bungalow with sea sight. Comfortable bed and nice room temperature. Anakao is definitely worth a visit.

“Wonderful location”

Beautiful hotel in Anakao, which can be reached by the Anakao Express (the boat takes you directly to the hotel). The rooms are simple, but given that you spend all the time on the beach, they are sufficient. Rooms are spacious and beds have mosquito nets. The hotel is accompanied by a restaurant serving Malagasy/Italian cuisine, with fair prices and very nice staff. The hotel can organize a tour to Nosy Ve (half-day, including coral reef snorkeling) and to Tsimanampetsotsa National Park. Anakao is a fisherman village with friendly people, and you can observe the bustle while having privacy at the beach next to the hotel (which is rare in Madagascar). Highly recommended!

“Fun, kind people, nice activities.”

Location was good. Staff were kind and helpful. They offer some interesting activities as well. We took the whale watching, snorkelling and island visit where we eat and spend some time. Food offered on the island was very nice and fresh.

The apartment was beautiful, with stunning décor and thoughtful details. It was clean, the water was perfectly hot, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We had the best room with the most spectacular view of the ocean. The apartment is located right on the beach. The staff were available and helpful throughout our stay, and the owner, Dario, made sure we felt truly comfortable. We also took day trips to Nosy Ve, which were excellently organized with amazing food and service. We even saw many whales! They went above and beyond in every way, exceeding all our expectations. We wholeheartedly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back. Cuki (the owners dog),we miss you!

Position directly on the beach, room was very spacious and original. Big windows in the bedroom and toilet, but still with privacy, it was great taking a shower looking at the sea.

Great location at the end of the fishing village with a beautiful stretch of private beach. Excursions are well organised and the snorkelling off Nosy Ve was a real highlight. The food was fantastic, Italian menu utilising the fresh seafood available. The staff are incredibly friendly and approachable as well.

“Amazing place, Amazing Italian food”

It was amazing to stay in Peter Pan, for me the owner seems to be a little serious at beginning, however, after I talked with him, I knew he is very friendly and full with love. He has a free spirit and free soul, he can do whatever he want. And I like his cool personality. I was planning to stay two nights, but I extended one more night( because of my arrangement, I can stay only one more night, or I would like to stay more). The food in the restaurant is all amazing, the pasta and the pizza, every night I stay here, every night I had dinner here. The staff were also very helpful, the room was very clean, with hot water and stable electricity. Hope one day I can go back to stay for one month to have more time talking with the cool owner, having delicious Italian food and enjoying the "paradise".
