“Hotel in need of refurbishing”

The hotel may have been really nice in the nineties, but it is not well kept. Staff was very kind and check in was extremely easy, but possibly these were the only positive things. The bathroom was sufficiently clear, but the room wasn't: the carpets are old and appear mouldy, the sheets had many old spots and the room also contained a very old and dirty sofa which should have been removed (we avoided sitting on it and/or using it in any way). Overall the hotel needs some urgent refurbishing and the photos must have been taken some time ago. The area is ok, but it is far from the centre. Overall I would not choose this structure again.

Great location

Easy access from the highway, quiet, and safe area. Although dated, perfectly clean and spacious room, comfortable bed, and amenities for what I needed. Nice breakfast and morning coffee.

Really dirty, unacceptable. Sheets not changed, stained, hairs and other things on the sheets, pillows. Stained towels. Floors (carpets) not cleaned at all. Jar full of cigarette butts at the entrance. Dental floss on the floor of the bathroom. Dishes still in the dishwasher. We had to ask for a new room. The second one was the same. The third one was slightly better but hopefully it was only for one night. Still stained sheets. Windows really dusty/dirty (birds dropping). TV not working (remote). I felt ashamed to have my family sleeping in those conditions. First time in my life I have to leave this type of comment.

The room was big and clean.

Rooms are nice sized and the beds were comfortable. Good value for the price.

We liked the location with restaurants near and it was quiet being off the main Street.

The owner was welcoming and helpful. Great location with easy parking right outside. Complimentary breakfast and coffee available anytime.

Short stay with a memorial but met all our expectations!

Super friendly owners who accommodated us through all our changes- and we went back and forth at the last minute! The place had tons of space and all we needed. It wasn't fancy, but it worked well for our needs.

Our "room" was spacious. It was basically a 2 bedroom apartment. The bedrooms and bathroom were upstairs.

Loved the lovely room and the comfy bed, and close proximity to the Orcas Is. ferry. Thank-you! Also, thank-you to Virginia, who provided a breakfast for us when she found out we would need to leave before they started serving breakfast the next day. Thank-you. We will remember you and hope we will see you again.

The rooms were large and had kitchenettes. The pieces of furniture were substantial.
