Volkshotel is located in the East district of Amsterdam, only 50 metres from metro station Wibautstraat. “Highly recommended”
We loved the chic design, the music in the public spaces, and the relaxed atmosphere throughout the hotel. The rooftop hot tub was a real treat, and we also enjoyed the cocktails at the canvas bar and the snacks at the restaurant. Our spacious studio room, complete with a balcony and kitchenette, was comfortable and stylish. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was excellent—right next to the metro and conveniently close to the stadium.

“Quiet hotel with good transport links, comfy beds, great breakfast and bonus hot tubs.”
Room was good size, really comfy beds, handy to have separate shower and toilet. Breakfast choice was excellent and staff were friendly and helpful, and we really enjoyed the free hot tubs on the roof, a relaxing way to start or end each day. Right by the metro so handy for city centre and lovely location close to the river. Air con was a bonus during the hot weather.

“disappointing”
balcony shuts at 11. why did i pay extra for a balcony i cannot use? the shower is visible from the kitchen and has no curtains, i had to wait outside while my friend showered. a balcony is primarily bought by smokers so why not make it abundantly clear that it cannot be used after a certain time, if i knew i couldve changed hotels.
