“Peaceful and comfortable”

Stunning cabins with comfy beds, great shower, excellent facilities. The grounds were so stunning and peaceful with so much for our children to do and explore. There was even a padel court across the road. We’ll definitely be back. We had such a memorable, peaceful stay and we didn’t want to leave!

clean rooms, very friendly staff, great bedding (comfortable mattresses, various pillows, nice blankets), and free parking on the premises. They were very accommodating to my 1 year old baby and lent us a baby chair for the whole duration of our stay to use in our little house. That was really nice of them!

Nothing to say, the Amsterdam Basecamp really went over our expectations. The loft where we stayed overnight (which i its name is the Lighthouse I think) was incredible, it has plenty of room for everyone. All services are top tier, from the oven to the baththub right behind the house, well maintained and comfortable. I don't know if I ever tested a bed better than this. Also, great price.

The pictures do not make this place justice. Truly exceptional. The studio was very modern, it had everything it needed. The whole Basecamp area was beautiful. We loved that they allowed staying with our dogs. The staff was kind and professional.

Location and the look and feel

What we loved the most were the beautiful wooden cabins and how thoughtfully everything was prepared. The cabins had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen with dishes and cooking essentials, and even simple details like a broom and dustpan, which made the stay feel so comfortable and practical. What made this place truly special was that we felt at home, not like we were staying in a hotel. The atmosphere was cozy, warm, and relaxing, and we really enjoyed every moment of our 2-day stay. We would happily come back again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

We stayed at Basecamp / Bootcamp Amsterdam from Thursday to Sunday, for a total of three nights. While the Tiny Houses look very nice and the overall design is appealing, there were several problems regarding service and safety that we feel need to be addressed. • Towels were provided upon arrival, but no fresh towels were offered during the entire stay • No change of bed linen was offered • Coffee was available initially (2–3 portions), but no refill was provided • The pellet stove ran out of pellets, despite us informing staff multiple times • We were told pellets would be brought later, which never happened • As a result, we were cold for the last two days Most concerning, however, was a serious safety issue: The pellet stove suddenly malfunctioned, causing smoke to come into the Tiny House instead of being properly extracted. The smoke entered the living area directly. Had we not been awake at that moment, this could have had serious health consequences. This situation was very alarming and should be urgently checked. Additionally, the reception closes in the evening (around 7–9 PM), and after that no one is reachable, even in situations like this. I wanted to make sure you are aware of these issues before I proceed with leaving a review. I look forward to your response.
