Location was great, in a nice area of the city. Lots to do within walking distance, and a tram stop to the train station right out the front.

“Overall I did really like this hostel except for the uncomfortable bed.”
I love how the bed had curtains so that you could have a bit of privacy. The lockers were also a really good size for my big backpack and other bag

“Good place to sleep for solo travelers”
The beds are comfy and have curtains, which adds a layer of privacy that I like. Each bed has light and a power socket. It was also quiet, so to sleep was very convenient. You can store your luggage after check out for free!

Nice and clean hostel, I wanted to write a good review about it but what have happened to me this morning by the cleaning staff is deeply insulting and completely unacceptable! Be careful with the cleaning staff, this morning I started to pack my bags at 9.40 and the male cleaner in his 30s-40s next to me was already cleaning the left beds - check-out is at 10.00, I don't even understand why he's already in the room - and I asked him to let me close my luggage so I could leave the room in time but he asked me to let him clean the beds next to me - there was no space between the beds to be able to do our thing at the same time - I waited for him to finish - in the meantime I had to inhale the cleaning spray - When I went out to check-out the reception girls asked me why I hit the cleaning man because the cleaning man told them that I hit him. We didnt touch each other, in fact there wasn’t even eye contact in the whole situation! The cleaner should be ashamed of himself for saying such thing! Completely unacceptable! I couldn't leave my luggage at the hostel because the receptionist said that their storage space is already full but I could leave my bags at their other sister accommodation - The Elephant Hostel, a 2-minutes walk away from The Bee Hostel. Needless to say, I didn't dare to leave my bags there, lest to suffer the atrocity of having them deny that I left my bags there because I didn't stay at the hostel and they end up stealing my belongings. I feel deeply insulted, unfortunately this situation ruined my last morning in the beautiful Amsterdam.

“Amazing hostel”

“The best place to stay in Amsterdam”
This is top of the top hostel. Im staying only in the hostels around the world and this is my favorite. Was my 2nd time, love time vibe there. All girls who works there are super nice, helpful, like to chat. Place is clean and beds are the best, the best designed, no lights coming in when you sleep :)

Surprize that there are only 2 wc and 2 shower in one floor and there were no queuing. No noise. Bike-rental was good, bacause you had to return it 9 am, so you could use it in the evening. Bed was good and private. Highest bed (3.) is not good, don't take it. I had middle (2.)
