Host Daan was lovely and very accommodating, with great communication. Great location in a nice neighbourhood and 5 minutes walk to the metro stop into the city centre. Studio really nicely appointed, nice and quiet with a lovely yard, had everything we needed for our stay.

The apartement is very nice and comfortable, there is a small and pleasent garden. There was a small problem of dripping water from the bathroom ceiling, Dan, the owner took care of it immediately and it was fixed (important to say that it happened due to renovations in the house next door and not a problem in the apartement itself). The location was very much to our liking, nice and quiet neighborhood with a lot of restaurants close by and the Albert Cuyp market. Good transportation to everywhere.

“Super week at Studio Jan Steen - Great Host”

A stay a Studio Jan Steen as a family of 4 was a great success. Dan, the owner warmly greeted us on our arrival, he was exceptionally polite and welcoming, a super host. The stylish Studio is in the perfect location to explore the city effortlessly. Walking, tramline, attractions and supermarkets a block or two away. Secure entrance, well equipped, spacious and comfortable. The garden was beautiful with thoughtfully newly planted flowering varieties for us on our arrival and a terrace that we enjoyed sitting under to play board games (provided by Dan), a coffee, or glass of wine in the evening (courtesy of Dan) The Beds are comfortable and we rested very well each night. The children greatly enjoyed the mezzanine floor and elevated sleeping position. As well as the gym equipment.

Weekend break away. Only a few minutes from shops, restaurants and tram line. Host was super. Outdoor space was fantastic.

The space is big and open, comfortable and clean. The garden is a great backdrop while you are in the studio, and is nice to hangout in. Great kitchen with all utensils that you need. Comfortable bathroom with a great shower. Also, the studio's location is one of the best in Amsterdam. Also, Daan is a nice host, communicative and easy going.

great location, very clear and tidy. the garden is priceless and host Daan is super friendly. would be ideal for couples as the gallery is a bit too cozy for the big guys we were, and a cooking device is definitely missing but everything else is just perfect. beautiful, clean, comfortable and convenient. I had an amazing stay at this flat in Amsterdam! The location was perfect, with plenty of cafes and restaurants just a short walk away. The flat itself was quiet, cozy, and had an incredible terrace that I enjoyed every day. The proximity to many of the city's top sightseeing spots made it easy to explore and experience all that Amsterdam has to offer. I would definitely recommend this studio to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Amsterdam. I will definitely be back next time I'm in the city!

We loved it all from the moment we saw the entry on Booking.com. This is an exceptional place to stay in a quiet residential street in the De Pijp district with a lovely garden. Nestled in a series of quiet residential streets, everything is close at hand whether its shops, restaurants and cafes, the market, a tramstop, or even just a quiet walk along the Amstel. The owners have gone out of their way to make this as 'gezellig' a place to stay as it possibly could be, and we felt completely at home. Daan is on hand if anything is ever needed, and meticulous in making sure everything is ready for arrival. We spent 4 nights here, exploring the neighbourhood and other districts, but the studio was very much part of our stay

Conveniently located to metro, trams and airport, and in the lovely neighbourhood of De Pijp. Away from the busy canals. Daan was super responsive and accommodative of our travel needs. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

The host Daan was very communicative and checked in with us throughout our stay and had recommendations for places to eat and things to do in the area during our stay. The studio was comfortable and private with a secure shared front entrance. We loved the private courtyard and it was lovely to enjoy in nice weather.

Daan simply is the perfect host. He made sure i felt welcome, even helped me with a little special request. The studio is totally clean, very well equiped, has a nice garden to sit outside and is in a very calm area just a bit outside of the center. But in my opinion you don't need public transport, even if its close by. In Amsterdam i always walk anything by foot - here it was around 15-20min. to the more busy area. The bed was very comfy and the room itself is extremely spacious, which you don't get much in Amsterdam. I will definitely come back!

Really friendly hosts and a great location. Quiet yet in the community which was. I’ve with lovely bird singing outside all day and a great outside area to relax. Two beds which were very comfortable.
