Perfect room only 3 stops on Metro from Centraal station although also easy to walk. Lovely quiet area with good amenities. Fantastic host made whole process very easy.

We had a wonderful stay at Spinoza Suites. The location was perfect — peaceful and quiet at night and in the mornings, away from the busiest areas and the constant sound of tourists dragging suitcases along cobbled streets, yet still incredibly easy to get around both on foot and by public transport. Amsterdam Centraal is only a couple of metro stops away, and having the freedom to walk into the centre each day meant we discovered so many beautiful little cafés, canals and neighbourhoods we would probably never have found if we had stayed somewhere more central. The suite itself was beautiful, comfortable and full of character. The thoughtful touches on arrival immediately made us feel welcome. Having such a great bakery right next door also quickly became part of our daily routine before heading out to explore the city. Patrick was a genuinely kind and thoughtful host throughout our stay — welcoming, helpful and easy to communicate with, while also giving us complete privacy. His hospitality really helped make the trip feel warm and personal rather than transactional. By the end of the trip, Amsterdam felt less like somewhere we had visited and more like somewhere we had briefly lived, and Spinoza Suites played a big part in that feeling. We would happily stay there again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The place was spotless, beautifully maintained, and exactly as described—if not better. The location was perfect, with everything we needed just a short walk or drive away. What truly made the experience exceptional was the host. They were incredibly kind, responsive, and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. From the smooth check-in process to the thoughtful little touches, everything felt welcoming and well-organized. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would happily stay here again. We loved the homely feel of the suite. It was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We were celebrating our birthdays and Erik went to the trouble of treating us to some bubbles and putting some little decorations in the room, it was just such a lovely touch. He provided us with a full list of recommendations for the area which helped us so much as we had never been Amsterdam. The room was excellent, done amazingly and it was so cosy. Everything was amazing you can’t pin it to one thing. Everything in the suite was brilliant and even personalised things and Patrick was an amazing host so helpful and welcoming. It’s so cozy and so close to many places and transport.

Accommodation is amazing high quality everything , attention to detail from Patrick is first class.. It was my husbands birthday whilst we were away and Patrick added touches to the room. Location is great so near the centre in a lovely quiet part of town. I've been to amsterdam alot with work & personal trips , and the Spinoza suites are up there with the best hotel rooms.

The room was fantastic! Clean, beautiful with great location few minutes walk from the metro and 2-3 stations into the center. Patrick is a great person and a generous host, made us feel welcome and advised us how to get around. Highly recommended!

“Beautiful memories made”

The property is 8 min by metro from city center. The location is perfect. After the hustle bussel of the day I looked forward coming to a place that was quiet and home like. And the place will not be complete with the owners. Patrick and Eric. Fabulous host. They have kept the place immaculate. Very kind, and they gave us such great suggestions. This is a definitely a place I’ll stay if I visit Amsterdam again.

The property is well located within a lovely neighborhood with good access via tram/metro to tourist spots. We love the fact that it is in a quaint area with some really lovely cafes/restaurants . The host Patrick is really awesome and he is the best host we have come across in many years of travelling. He helped us with our luggages on arrival and departure (and some of you will know the challenge of navigating those narrow steps in European properties) and gave us many useful pointers to off beaten track in the city. He is super responsive. One of the best stays we had. Highly recommended!

Happy to recommend. Beautiful apartment, comfy bed, on a quiet street. It was an easy walk to nearby cafes, restaurants and the zoo. There’s also a supermarket just around the corner.

Honestly, everything. - The location (central street, but very quiet at the same time); - The owner Patrick is more than helping and really wants to make sure that you have everything you need during your stay; - The room itself (we had a view on the canal) is impeccable and comfortable; - Check-in and check-out was super smooth; - Welcome gifts were definitely appreciated !
