Overview
This boat is located in the centre of Amsterdam on the Oosterdok, opposite Nemo Science Museum and a 10-minute walk from Central Station. Passengership Avanti offers functional accommodation with free Wi-Fi. The cabins are authentically decorated with wooden bunk beds, a wardrobe space and a traditional porthole facing the water and the dock. The bathroom facilities are shared. Breakfast is served daily and includes a variety of items, such as bread, ham, cheeses and various other spreads, yoghurt, cereals and a selection of juices. Complimentary tea and coffee are available all day. Nieuwmarkt is 13 minutes by foot. From there it is 7 more minutes to Dam Square. Lively Rembrandtplein is 1.4 km away. From Central Station you have direct access to Leidseplein and Museumplein.

The concept was great, the sleeping area was cramped but comfortable, the top deck dining room was a good multi purpose room, breakfast was good and the location was fine for catching our Viking cruise.

The room had no window. Just a ventilation hole. Me and wife could not stay in the room more than five minute. We left the boat and booked a proper hotel. We did not get our pre paid money back. 600 euro down the drain.

“If you do not expect much its good, and a fun experience for one or two nights.”
Really good location and easy to get to the city centre. Beds were surprisingly very comfy, and it was nice to be rocked slightly to sleep. The top deck was nice, and the other guests were all very social.
