My stay was excellent! I came from a conference, which was held in Maastricht and arrived around 5 pm. I was so impressed of the room and view on the channel so I decided to stay there and enjoy the view an entire evening. It was so spectacular to watch the ducks and to enjoy the sunset. I took the bath inside the room and it was an unique experience. I slept so deep and so long like not sing the last months. In the morning Johann (the owner) surprised me with a rich and delicious breakfast- so many tasty things, including an entire bottle of the freshly pressed orange juice and an entire bottle of milk. Several types of bread, a lot of butter, salami, Greek yoghurt, eggs and on the next day, the omelette. The room facilities were enough and all was new. Microwave and also a refrigerator. Very nice bathroom. I sincerely thank the host. I recoveried there in my short stay (slept enough and ate delicious breakfast).

“One of a kind stay!”

This property is absolutely breath taking, from the canal side balcony to the surrounding neighbourhood. We spent our mornings relaxing on our balcony surrounded by ducks and passing boats. Johan and Tiba are amazing hosts and provided us with top tier service! Breakfast was delivered to our room every morning, including pastries, spreads, fruits, meats and eggs. Fresh towels and bedding were provided when needed and Johan was around 24/7 for all of our needs. The location of this property is great. With transport to Amsterdam centre being around 30 minutes, this includes the 195 bus and the 17 or 2 tram. Both bus and tram were always on time, quiet and easy to navigate. I have been to Amsterdam many times and this location has to be my favourite, nice and quiet away from the crowds and noise of the centre! Would 100% stay again! Thank you Johan and Tiba.

“Peaceful canal-side location with comfortable beds and a great breakfast”

The apartment has a private terrace directly on the canal, which is a perfect place to enjoy breakfast. The host lives in his own apartment next door and brings a fantastic breakfast every morning - a true breakfast buffet in a basket! He's very welcoming and always willing to provide clean glasses, plates etc. if you want to eat other meals (there's a fridge and a microwave, but no kitchen equipment at all, so it's only suitable for ready-made supermarket food). The bed was extremely comfortable (nice and soft) and the location is quiet, so we always slept well.

The accommodation was perfect, Mr Johan was very helpful and accommodating. Excellent breakfast. Everything was done in a relaxed atmosphere and the accommodation exceeded our expectations many times over. Travel from the centre by simple tram no 2 approx 13 minutes walk from the accommodation through beautiful surroundings. I highly recommend

The interior was beautifully and artfully decorated, it was a joy coming in to the room and waking up to it. You're right over the water and the birds, water, and trees are super relaxing. The included breakfast was so filling and varied, and the host was amazing! 10/10 recommend staying there.

The staff member who received our call was amazing; he was helpful and kind. I called him to inform him that our flight was canceled and we couldn't come to the hotel.

Johan was such an enthusiastic and helpful host. Loved the size of the room, the decor of the room and the outlook was wonderful. We felt like we were on the edge of the countryside while being very close to the city highlights.
