Excellent stay! Hosts were lovely, breakfast was lovely at bagel and beans cafe, where you get a voucher card every day. Restocked mini bar each day and snacks in room along with bottled water. We have nothing negative to say. We arrived for my partners 40th birthday, room was decorated with balloons and little treats on arrival. Excellent location. We would definitely love to return. We walked everywhere every day and evening loved every minute!

“Wonderful Milkhouse”

We received a wonderful welcome and nothing was to much trouble. The location was perfect for getting to all the attractions, especially with the tram stop only 50m away. The accommodation itself was of the highest quality, with all the little things thought off, including drinks and snacks. We cannot recommend the Milkhouse high enough to make your trip to lovely Amsterdam even more special.

Everything was great. The owner Eline welcomed us very friendly and luckily we could check in early. The room has everything you need. Coffeemaker, refrigerator with free drinks, very nice bathroom with very good care products and the most comfortable bed I ever slept in. The location is perfect. From there we walked all over Amsterdam, able to take breaks in our room because it is just in the middle of Amsterdam, but still quietly located in a side street. Breakfast was 100 m away at Bagels Beans and it was also very good. The tram stops 100 m away and you can reach everything by tram. When we checked out we could leave our luggage with Eline and pick it up later that day. We had a perfect weekend in Amsterdam 😊

Our hosts, Eline and Erik, were very communicative and kind. We had everything we needed in the room, it was comfortable and quiet, the shower was great, and the location on Kaisergracht can’t be topped. Also, we liked that everything was included with the room price. Nice touch! Would stay again!

The location was excellent for the tourist attractions. Plenty of good restaurants and bars within 10 minutes walk. Hotel overlooking a canal which was lovely. The hostess was very friendly and helpful with local knowledge. She even provided different books on Museums and galleries that we were going to. There was even a free mini bar in the room which was a pleasant surprise. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

“Classy Room with Thoughtful Touches”

We totally fell in love with the Milkhouse. We were well looked after by Eline (who stayed up late to welcome us to the room and kept our bags safe after checkout on our final day!). Communication was clear, friendly, unintrusive. The room was beautiful and clean, it smelled amazing, and has an extra big, comfy bed. The personal touches are fantastic - bath robes, underfloor heating, lovely toiletries, a fridge stocked with many different beverages, mini snacks and a new display book to read after the room gets made every day. The location is central and well-connected; the door opens up to the canal, with a tram stop 2 mins along the road, but it is still a peaceful area. Perfect for exploring the city - can recommend Bagels & Beans for breakfast, Hap-Hmm for a solid Dutch meal, Blauw for rijsttafel, and Winkel43 for apple pie! Thank you Eline & Erik :)
