Set in the Amsterdam Noord district of Amsterdam, Lightship Amsterdam offers accommodation with a plunge pool and full-day security. There is a private entrance at the boat for the convenience of those who stay. Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. “Fantastic, can't wait to stay again”
This place is incredible - very different. It manages to combine utalitaran with quiet luxury in a way that is unique. Host is super helpful. Very generous and delicious breakfasts brough to room as a matter of course. Location was excellent - About 15 - 20 minutes from Centre of Amsterdam yet super quiet (apart from the water lapping against the bow :) . We are definitely coming back!

The Lightship is truly a one off opportunity to stay somewhere delightfully different and super cool. In a lovely quiet part of the city, Alex is the perfect host. The breakfast each morning left at your door was exceptional. The room was huge, comfortable with the wow factor!

The "Machinery space'' room was fantastic and big.The breakfast was average but the free minibar(without refill) was a plus. Alex, the owner was completely discreet and very smiling. The location was quiet, 15 min. walk to the ferry, 3-4 min. on the ship and 10-12 min. walk to the center. With the weather that usually prevails in Amsterdam, it is impossible to walk, so we used UBER all the days of our stay at a cost of about 12-13€ during the day and around 20€ at night. The Bolt app (cheaper app) did not work well except for the trips to and from the airport.
