“Zen-full Home away from Home”
The Lovely owner is a Diamond! We have found a paradise and peace in this holiday amidst the hustle and bustle of the City. The place was Amazing, my family felt very at home in a foreign place. Place is fully equip, A-mazing views, Natural light beaming through, Fresh air, you can see boats sailing whilst your chilling in the sofa or having your dinner..The people we’ve meet around the area was also friendly, including the animals .

Fabulous house boat and location! Houseboat was very modern and had everything you need. Comfy beds. Best was sitting on the deck watching the ducks and the odd boat - and swimming in the canal! Canal was very clean and not too cold. Obviously a regular morning swim for some people. Vera very kindly drove us to the local supermarket for supplies and also said we were welcome to use the 2 kayaks that were there. There were 2 childs wetsuits and bouyancy aids to use. Lovely 20mins walk through a forest (with a zip wire) then 5-10 minute walk to the metro, one stop to Centraal. Very quiet situation. I will definitely be returning.

“Exceptional experience”
Many thanks to the hosts Vera and Arjan for making us feel at home. The houseboat was outstanding, very well maintained and had all the amenities we needed. There is nothing like having your morning coffee right on the canal with a stunning view. The hosts were very friendly and thoughtful, checked if we needed anything and they even gave us a ride to the supermarket to get our groceries when we first arrived. It was a really great experience for us and we will definitely book again.

The houseboat was really a lovely place, to stay. It was well equipped and very comfortable. The owners live nearby and were very friendly and helpful even taking us to the supermarket to get provisions. The location is excellent and is a lovely quiet place to stay being only 25 mins to central Amsterdam

“A pleasant location to enjoy peace and quietness after 6 weeks travelling.”
It was quiet and a lovely outlook. A 15 minute walk took you to the train station and it was only a couple of stops to Central Station. The hosts could not have been more helpful which we really appreciated.

First experience on a houseboat and it was spectacular. The welcoming, comfortable, full optional house. Waking up in the morning and having coffee on the canal, immersed in nature is a wonderful feeling. The place is really beautiful. It can be reached on foot in 15 minutes from the bus stop through a park that is pleasant to walk through and regenerating. Alternatively by car/taxi/bicycle directly in front of the houseboat. Vera and her husband were very helpful and gave us good advice. A fantastic experience.
