Perfect location - easy access the centre of Amsterdam, but the cottage itself located in a quiet, idyllic place. Lots od flowers and plants around, ducks coming to say hello when you sit on a terrace. And Anneke - just a perfec host:)

Lovely cottage at the back of owners property. Views were gorgeous. Lots of ducks and wildlife. The village of Durgerdam is beautiful. Our host was helpful. It is a distance to the tram station, we were supplied bikes which was fun! We would bike to the tram station and catch a tram into Amsterdam.There is a great supermarket not far.

This home overlooks a meadow, so in the morning you can watch geese bob through the marsh and bunnies hop through the field. Anneke has a whimsical garden: bees buzz, birds sing and a little ginger cat curls around the fence sometimes. Indoors everything is beautiful tidy and well appointed, lots of whimsy and comfort. The shower is great and the mattresses were fine. Anneke put fresh flowers in the suite and the sofa was of high quality. This was the perfect antidote to the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam.

Our stay met all of our expectations and even exceeded them in many ways. The arrival was smooth and welcoming — the owner was already waiting for us, and communication before arrival was good. She was very kind, helpful, and made us feel at home right away. The cottage itself was cozy and charming, with a truly beautiful view over the surrounding landscape. The location was exceptional — on one side, a sea bay with picturesque houses lining the coast, and on the other, greenery stretching all the way toward the silhouette of Amsterdam. A really unique and peaceful setting. Getting around was easy, both by car and by Uber. The accommodation itself was comfortable and well equipped, with a functional kitchen, a spacious bathroom, and a very comfortable bed. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would gladly return.

We absolutely loved the cottage, which is set in a charming village just outside the city. It's amazing to discover such stunning landscapes so close to Amsterdam. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you might need. We brought our dog along, and he enjoyed it just as much as we did. Anneke is extremely friendly and always available to answer any questions during your stay. We arrived by train, and everything is easily accessible by public transport. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the bus stop, or you can use the bikes provided to reach the tram in roughly 10 minutes. Alternatively, Uber and Bolt rides to Amsterdam range from 15 to 25 euros.

“Fairytale House in the Countryside of Amsterdam”

This was one of the best places I ever found on Booking! Anneke is a great host. She was simply amazing and so helpful throughout our entire stay. The property looks out of a fairytale, with fields as the backyards. You can enjoy a coffee outside on the terrace while the sun baths in the entire house through some amazing glass walls. The house is not very close to the city center but access there is pretty fine and it was the perfect choice for what we were looking. I definetly recomand it and would book it again if I travel back to Amsterdam.

The place was very cozy in a quiet area of amsterdam. We felt very comfortable in it. The little terrace was amazing and the whole cottage was nicely decorated. Free parking is close and the owner was very friendly. We would definitely come back.

If heaven on earth exists, then it is here. Thanks to the wonderful hostess, we felt not just at home, we felt welcomed and beloved guests. Anneke met us, revealed all the cards (maps), literally and figuratively, told us about cheap parking lots, convenient shops... The photo of the apartment does not convey all its charm and uniqueness. Housing is simple, on the one hand, but thought out to the smallest detail and very beautiful .. Local cats, swans, cows, ducks came to say hello to us, on a small terrace we met a delightful sunrise ... and this is a 10-minute drive from the metropolis .. Thank you so much for this amazing bonus to the Vermeer exhibition

“Gorgeous countryside picturesque stay in... Amsterdam!”

Absolutely adored this gorgeous garden house in the picturesque village of Durgerdam. Such a lovely place right next to the city! We loved walking in the village, really enjoyed the view into the fields at the back, and it was very close to Amsterdam-Noord activities we had. Also the huge organic supermarket around the corner was a definite extra bonus

Close to Center of Amsterdam by bike. Beautiful 7km bike path to the center, great for relaxing from busy days in Amsterdam. Newly renovated.

“Comfortable and active stay”

very clean and nice bathroom and beds. The living room and kitchen are amazing. A good spot to stay if you have up to four people. Staying here gave the full Amsterdam experience. My friends and I felt like locals by the second stay here.
