“Pleasant and everyone was so welcoming and helpful”

It was really easy to find and move across the city from the hotel. The staff were really welcoming and easy to contact when needed. The food was delicious.

Location is spot on for accessing the city. Right next to the metro or a short walk into the centre. There is a fabulous coffee shop next door… grab a coffee and croissant and enjoy the walk into town.

The staff make Citizen M what it is ! That’s why we chose it. The beds are also very comfy !

Bed and pillows were utterly gorgeous. Loved the smart features in the room and blackout blind. Staff were very courteous, friendly, warm and attentive.

The room wasn’t huge but big enough for two people. The bed was a super king which was very very comfortable- it was a lovely bed. Within the hotel, there aren’t any facilities such as gym or fitness centre. But the 24hr bar/cafe provides a great selection of snacks and water on tap. The staff are super friendly and the hotel is spotless. Its prime location, most attractions are within walking distance. The tram and metro are just outside the hotel. I would most definitely stay at the hotel, it’s really good value for money.

Location, very good. Breakfasts, great, Citizen M standard. Room excellent. A few glitches with IPad communicator but fixed rapidly by reception staff. Always a a great welcome.

CitizenM Amsterdam Amstel is extremely well located, right next to Weesperplein metro station, with a tram stop just outside the hotel. Transportation could not be more convenient. The hotel has a modern, stylish, and well-designed interior that feels fresh and welcoming. What stood out the most was the staff — they were genuinely warm and friendly. I stayed for six days, and every time I left or returned, I was greeted with a smile. The room features an iPad that controls lighting, temperature, and entertainment, which made the stay fun and effortless. A great choice for travelers who value design, service, and convenience.
